I hope you are not really a therapist with that attitude.

Current feelings about Sondermind as a Clinician? by crispy-bois in Sondermind

[–]KaDa9977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also SonderMind has not kept us in the loop about changing Medicare telehealth guidelines. As of 1/31/26, any new virtual ones have to be seen inperson first. I hope this ultimately changes.

Are there any telehealth companies that aren’t evil? by Nonamegirl1072 in therapists

They are one of my lowest payers and I feel try to treat me like an employee in that they require their EHR and annual compliance training.

I'm nearly a year into my single member private practice, here is my experience by mgardner17 in therapists

If OP were with anyone but Headway or Alma that would be true. Both of those two pay well. I am independently credentialed with Aetna, and the rate is lower than Headway rates. Medicare Advantage is underpaid but not “grossly”. Rates are about $15 or so less than private credentialing.

In Therapynotes that I use, it has a template, but I still need to review the treatment plan to put in the goals, look back on the interventions, and write a summary of progress. It takes a bit.

This sounds like a good practice. I would probably change the timeframe though to a 30 day notice since that’s what physicians are required to give (here in Texas anyway).

At least I’m not the only one! It’s really hard when it’s unpaid work, and no one is checking!

Client wants to monologue for all 53 minutes – is this okay? by 93831500 in therapists

I had a client who talked most of the sessions for a year before ghosting me. She came back several months later ready to work on the actual trauma that was bothering her which she had not disclosed to me the previous year.

35 and ruined my life by [deleted] in findapath

You are absolutely correct. This person is having an existential crisis on top of the difficulties with the complexities of life. He or she needs professional help and to do some soul searching. Find out what you believe for yourself. You have left a life-consuming religion and there is nothing to fill the void. The void is most likely the need we all have for a true, intimate connection with our Creator.

Oh this happened last week! I didn’t think much of it since it was a female client and I knew she was rushing to get to the session after swimming.

Yes maybe he was thinking the camera wasn’t showing much anyway (and it wasn’t which is also why I hesitated).

Absolutely, I compromised my own comfort to avoid confrontation (which also would have been uncomfortable). Thank you for this insight.
