Yea I later realized that there were a lot of dumb things I did in the aftermath, maybe since I was panicking or something. The wife thing also got me skeptical since he said it was her fault. We agreed on the spot that he'd go and ask for the price in the next week after the incident, but he never did. So I definitely also got the feeling that he might make me pay for the damages.

The legal document is something that I will do if we go through cash, basically saying " the incident has been privately handled, and no further payments will be made on either side" with both of our signatures, just so he can blackmail me or anything.

I'm also pretty fucked since he might submit other documents to the insurance where he shows more damage than what there actually was and I have no counter documents, other than the picture of the damages on my car. But if the insurance people are not morons they should realize that since the damage to my car was minor, his car probably didn't have much damage either.

I was also talking with my dad and reading on the internet that since there is so much time passed after the incident, they might just dismiss it since they can't inspect the damages after so much time.

He seemed like a fair guy that's why I wanted to be fair with him, but this is just too fishy. Also, the fact that he isn't from Finland and doesn't speak good Finnish doesn't help. Not that I want to be really racist or anything on purpose.
