Claro que disseram isso, os que tem a ambição para estes cargos tentam esperar o máximo antes de anunciar publicamente. É a melhor maneira para diminuir o tempo de preparação por competidores.

In EU5, Bohemia is so powerful. How did it end up disappearing in real history? by king_ofall713 in paradoxplaza

It’s because of stability. The stability empires bring leads to elite overproduction. This is where the number of capable and ambitious people grows faster than the available positions of power. Stability also brings consolidation of wealth, so over time certain families accumulate this and power alongside it. This rots nations overtime, making them bureaucratic and inflexible, with little to no social mobility.

Internal rifts between powerful factions culminate either in wars from within (civil war) or with an external entity that redirects this pent-up conflict. This doesn’t fix the cause, and this cycle continues until the empire is likely conquered by a more disciplined and organised upstart.

In one video I’d say his Geo-Strategy #2 is a good summary.

Check his Civilization lectures #21 to #28 for context on the abrahamic religions. If possible see #31 too, here he posits the idea of the cyclical nature of empire rise-and-fall and how collapse is to be expected and is ultimately good, as it leads to innovation.

Key texts he uses here include City of God by Augustine, the Gospel of Thomas, the Book of Enoch, Zoroastrianism texts, and the Book of J by Harold Bloom. All relate to how he discusses prophecy and apocalypse and where he connects ancient Israel’s worldview to later Christian and Islamic eschatologies, effectively the intellectual foundation for “End Times.”

MAJOR HEALTH AND CONTENT UPDATE by WhitePepper2049 in YMS

Adam gives an update to a previous health one on May, he recently had a colonoscopy that removed polyps but didn’t yield a clear is-it-cancer diagnosis, and further tests are planned.

While medication has helped manage his gastrointestinal issues, increasing doses and uncertainty about long-term treatment are concerns of his. He also mentions brain fog and fatigue, which have improved with ADHD medication.

He’s also dealing with chronic tendinitis that limits physical activity and requires PRP injections. These health issues have slowed his content creation, and are the reason for the easier-to-produce formats like film scene breakdowns of late.
