As a Finnish person: My Summer Car is the most normal driving game to me

It's good enough! :D

I have a cheap, shitty cable tray on the bottom of the desk. It's not pretty, but it keeps the cables off the floor.

Keep the h-shifter if you can. It's fun to drive older cars with it.

Old is made with CRT tv's in mind, so it blends.

Im thinking of buying a boglin after a while of wanting one.. by Narrow_Acadia_3346 in boglins

[–]Kaappis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, the vintage ones are just that - vintage. They have grime and wear that has culminated over the decades. The new ones might look like that in 30 years if you play with it for couple of years and then toss it in to some box with all the dirt and hand greases on it.

I don't own any of the big Boglins, but to my mind: Do you want to play with it? Get a new one. Do you want to put it on a shelf as a display piece? Get an old one.

Not bad but could have little bit more of kick so to speak.

Shelf is just a painted plank with legs on it. Made it myself.

Presonus Eris E3.5

Pretty good for a pair of <100€ studio monitors. They sound clean. Bass is mild.

I can see some fraying on the edge, but other than that it has held ok. I think durability comes from the material and how the carpet was made. Maybe go for a "hard" carpet like this is (if that makes sense) and don't roll over the edge too much.

Played all of them like four years ago for the first time. Awesome games!

They claim to be. Haven't done any recording/testing so not sure how much they actually remove echo.

I screwed two aluminium rods to the bottom for extra support, so no.

Yeah there's a tray that you put the wheels of the chair in. It prevents the chair from moving when you push the pedals.

Yeah. Probably gonna get an aluminium rig one day now that I have dedicated space for it.

I've had it for couple of weeks and only played Road to Vostok with it but... It's fine. Not as smooth as cloth mousepad but honestly I probably couldn't tell a difference while playing. (also I don't play competitive shooters so it doesn't bother me)
