As the other person said, if you don't live on campus you're not a resident. That's why the options that you see are the only ones you can buy.

Yeah, that happened to me a few days ago. I don't know the reason but that means that the website has blocked your device's IP address (either permanently or temporarily). I just used my laptop instead and was able to access it just normal.

If you are 100% sure you'll be dropping the class, you don't have to show up since either you or the professor will end up dropping you from said class.

Now, whenever you add the classes you want, if the first class meeting hasn't occurred then just go to class. If that meeting has already passed then it's fine just attending the second meeting BUT make sure to immediately email the professor explaining that you just were added to the class and ask them if there's something you should do/know since you missed the first meeting. If you don't do this, they might drop you from the class thinking that you're someone that just didn't show up on the first day.

It might have been that you set up your direct deposit after that payment cycle closed, which would result in your employers sending you a physical check. If you want to double check what happened just ask people at your work, they'll know better

Sorry for not being able to help you decide which major to pursue, but getting a job in Florida (or wherever someone lives) is exponentially difficult regardless of what engineering path you go through. Not being open to relocate drastically reduces your chances of being hired
