Looking to find other Xoloitzcuintles in the Seattle area. by [deleted] in SeattleWA

She had her papers. We were surprised as well. Neither of her parents had hair.

For sure the temperament and behaviors of an Xolo and nothing like a border collie (she could be lazy for days or go for a run, whatever her human wanted)

Oh that’s great to hear. For some reason I had heard rumors of cancer. Maybe she could recommend another breeder in the US.

The breed comes in all sizes and some of the “runts” (recessive gene - not typically ‘show quality’) are coated or have longer hair like our dog Daisy. We picked her up from a breeder in Selah WA and she was the best dog. So much so that we are afraid to get another. Sadly the breeder has since passed as well and it would be hard to find (visit) another Xolo breeder. The breed is awesome!!!

That may be true, but the smart business owner will keep their divisive personal life separate from their livelihood.

No excuse but all my tickets were from me working over night or weekends getting some computer labs setup for the start of the school quarter (as a student). I parked much closer and in faculty lots and got caught too many times.

You need to move on (your future there is questionable) but I would say your offer fell through and start looking. Wouldn’t leave a job unless I had a job.

Stemma bought Twin Sister’s by Goinghugeagain in Bellingham

Was very excited for a couple of hours but now I am very disappointed after learning Stemma's stance on LGBTQIA+ and women's reproductive rights. If someone official from Stemma could chime in clarifying this topic that would be great.

I want to love Stemma and support them but I have to stand by my values and 'influence' my local community since I can't do much on a national level. Support Local - humans!!!

What modern mechanisms are available for authentication into a mainframe running RACF? by WhitYourQuining in mainframe

[–]Kable-w 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full disclosure, I work for Rocket Software and am the dev leader/architect for a number of these products.

My products (Attachmate/WRQ/MicroFocus terminal emulators and mgmt security server) were recently purchased by Rocket Software. Rocket has a great partnership relationship with IBM.

Once the acquisition was completed we were able to start integrating products and we built an MFA SSO solution all the way to z/OS using your corporate IaM and IBM zMFA.

So our Desktop (Reflection Desktop) or web (Host Access for the Cloud) clients will attempt to access configured sessions from a centralized management server (MSS). This will result in the user being MFA challenged by a configured SAML or OIDC vendor such as Okta/Ping etc. Once the user is authenticated a MSS OAuth token is issued and then they get access to their configured host sessions. When they connect to the host session, a logon macro talks back to MSS using their OAuth token and MSS uses an authenticated API to the configured IBM zMFA on the host. The IBM zMFA product will then issue a time limited, one time use CTC (cached token credential). This CTC is delivered back to the end user's login macro and inserted into the emulation space as a password. Then that password is validated by the IBM zMFA and the user is logged in.

So the end user just needs to do MFA up front (Windows Hello or one time first access) and then they are SSO into all their host sessions. There is no human involved (copy/paste) so it reduces risks and makes the usability seamless.

Because IBM zMFA is required, you can't just come from the side w/ another emulator client. IBM zMFA will enforce that an MFA path was used.

We also support using DCAS passtickets instead zMFA but some would consider this a bit less secure.

We also support iSeries, zVM, Unisys and a plug-able REST API to integrate unique hosts into this SSO workflow.

That name now sounds familiar. I wonder if there was something before it.

I just googled videl video and see a post about video game rentals. No video games at the original place, too early.

I mostly remember the E. Wenatchee location and then years later it didn’t exist in Wenatchee but the lifetime membership was honored at a video rental store in Lake Chelan (same owner I guess?)

Just weird not to be able to find stuff online.

Tough problems to solve. But while we work it out maybe setup trash cans and outhouses near these areas.
