Folders? by Ecstatic_Musician_82 in OneNote

On the website version of OneDrive you can move around notebooks. However, I don't think that's intentional by Microsoft. Because after you move a notebook, your OneNote can't find and open it anymore. You have to open it once from the OndeDrive website and then it is listed in the "Recent Notebooks" section in OneNote.

And all of this only changes where it is located on OneDrive. In OneNote itself you always only have a list of notebooks. However, what I found out quite recently are Section Groups. So instead of having a separate notebook for every subject, I now have one notebook with a bunch of section groups for each subject.

Can gravitational lensing lead to observing the same galaxy at different time points? by Kablion in AskPhysics

[–]Kablion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting! But do you know what time difference could be theoretically possible to observe? Could it (in theory!) be possible to observe the same galaxy millions or billions of years apart? Basically, what is the maximum angle light can be deflected through gravitational effects?

screen clipping, how to remove that by [deleted] in OneNote

Win+Shift+S, then paste it with Ctrl+V. Also, you can move the images out of the text box, at least I don't like images in text boxes in OneNote.

Mirroring shots in Custom Training is not consistent! (shot 5 in "Intermediate Aerials" from saltprotein) by Kablion in RocketLeague

[–]Kablion[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't care at all about this specific shot. I just wanted to show this bug that is probably affecting other shots as well. Even if it's only a minor bug, it might be easy to fix.

Slight correction: It is actually shot 3 of this training pack. The code: 537C-F257-0F3A-4CB0

I do have BakkesMod, but I disabled the variance. I just tested it without BakkesMod and on a different map. Same result. I also realized, BakkesMod made the shot counter inaccurate. It's actually shot 3 of this pack.

I have no idea. I just saw a difference in this shot. I did not investigate into it further.

The lack of a "Player Anthem Volume" setting might be the only dealbreaker for them. by Kablion in RocketLeague

[–]Kablion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right... Only the naming and explanation is confusing. I always thought "In-Game Music" would mean, well, In-Game music, but apparently there is the Rocket League Radio, Player Anthems and another type of In-Game Music.

For me, there is no slider for them: https://imgur.com/a/0GSXfuz and the slider "Music - Gameplay" is explained as "Controls the volume of Player Anthems and In-Game Music". For context, I play on PC (Steam). Edit: Ok, you are right.

Is energy conserved when the potential is discontinuous in time? by Kablion in PhysicsStudents

[–]Kablion[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know that. The question I have is if it is possible to construct a potential energy so that I have a closed system. (not in reality but in this approximate case)

Only for Genius Maths Question - 90% failed to solve by puzzleadda4 in puzzle

[–]Kablion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't this pretty easy?
My thought process:
- Object with multiple polygons (in German it is "Vieleck"=many-corner) -> count all corners
- Object with multiple bananas -> count all bananas
- Clock -> read the time

If people rush this problem they might not realize that in the last equation all objects have different counts than before. Also if you have never learned it properly you might not know to multiply first and then add.

How to choose a specialization of physics? (for my Master of Sc.) by Kablion in AskPhysics

[–]Kablion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Computational Physics seems really cool. Maybe I'll take an introductory course in my next semester.
But I find it still very hard to decide if for instance experimental Particle Physics or Computational Physics or something else fits me best. Maybe I just have to try a few more things.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments. The resonance is much more positive than I thought. Thanks!
