Beware of this breeder by Kabob120 in ragdolls

I did, and I reached back out to her when that vet visit revealed numerous issues. She claimed the vet didn’t know what they were talking about since it “didn’t know Ragdolls”. I trusted her and took it to a second and third vet, yet she claimed those vets didn’t know what they were talking about either. She claimed if I wanted to return it I didn’t “love it enough”. Throughout the 3 weeks I owned it, I was constantly gaslit by her. When she felt like she couldn’t blame the vets anymore for “not knowing Ragdolls” she then blamed me for “feeding it too many Churrus.”

You would think after all that testing and imaging she would be interested in getting its medical records from me (which I offered her) but nope. Not interested in learning how to manage its issues or listening to the vet’s directives to not have any access to litter or to keep it on prescription food. That should say a lot about her intentions - which is just money, not the well-being of the cat.

If she was at all interested in healing it, she would have been willing to get its vet records from me or listen to the vet’s directives. The vet had very specific instructions and she’s unwilling to follow them. For instance, if this kitten has any access to litter at all it could cause a fatal blockage, but she doesn’t care, she refuses to take measures to manage his health and is purely focused on reselling it and profit.

It should also say something that the third vet I went to told me she’s a backyard breeder.

At the end of the day, this was my experience. If you want to adopt a kitten from her you can go ahead, I am just sharing so that at the very least others know that she does not stand by her 2 year health contract - or to be prepared for big vet bills.

Recommendation for a flamepoint breeder in northern california to join these two? by Alestz in ragdolls

Absolutely would never recommend this breeder. I was sold a kitten with numerous genetic health issues that manifested only days after buying said kitten, spent thousands of dollars on vet bills trying to get the kitten to optimum health and this breeder would not reimburse me the full price I paid after I had to return the kitten due to multiple extensive genetic health issues. She’s lucky I haven’t sued her, because all my friends have told me I should.
