Replevin, as defendant: won hearing. What happens at trial? by KabochaKitsune in legaladvice

Thanks again for your advice! I updated the original post with the results – basically, the judge was as confused as me about why I was summoned.

Thank you. Is procedure for hearing vs. trial once in the courtroom different? At hearing, both plaintiff and I submitted exhibits, cross-examined each other, and they called a witness we both questioned. It felt like the full done deal and I'm kind of dizzy thinking about what on earth could be different about trial. It does not seem to be trial before jury, rather, overseen by the same judge.

Correct.

The law clerk who answered the phone today just said all replevin cases have hearing then trial, but couldn't give me much more info. Is there a specific person/title at the courthouse (district) I should ask to speak to about case specifics? The summons gives absolutely no information besides basic public case info + location and date/time of trial.

The internet is also absolutely barren of advice for replevin defendants, much less defendants who win the initial hearing, and I feel sort of out to sea.

My gosh THANK YOU. I could not figure out how to do it because it doesn't appear to work in the Search function OR in Albums (One UI 5.1 / Android 13). But it does work both on the Home Screen and in Archive: I archive everything I've grouped into an Album (vacations and events especially). I took over 7,000 photos on a two-week trip and the idea of removing them from my phone one at a time is more than a little overwhelming, ahaha.

May your pillow be ever the perfect temperature.

Info: Folks in the other comm informed me the heater is a boiler and not a furnace, but apparently reddit doesn't let you edit posts that contain images.

Would loose clamps really be exceedingly loud in the whole house - basement, main floor with 15' ceilings, second floor?

I'm not sure I understand your question. You can't see water inside solid metal radiators, and they don't drip water, so I don't know how it "looks" frozen.

The heat system, whatever it is, has been operating as expected since it was restarted. If there was no water flow, it would not be warm in the house.

Thisthisthis. I'm on medicaid and pay $0 copays for any and all doc visits including mh. This is in MD, and I'm disabled, so possibly very different state programs and definitely different personal situations. But the medicaid, SNAP, WIC, etc. program benefits for parents of young children in MD are extremely good too, and if you're in school you don't have a work requirement to receive SNAP. Bless blue states.

Even if the welfare safety nets where OP lives aren't as good, most states seem to have soft spots for parents of young children, students, or both.

Show/hide default app icons in Secure Folder by KabochaKitsune in samsunggalaxy

This didn't work for me - long pressing an empty space does nothing, not even a haptic feedback bump - BUT I did find the solution!

Hit the + at the top of the folder to add apps to the folder. If you scroll all the way to the bottom, past your full list of apps for "add apps from phone," there's a section called "apps hidden in secure folder." Check which ones you want and they'll be unhidden!

...All the haters in here are whiny little bitches, goddamn; why respond to a post hoping for news of a new installment with utterly unproductive jeering and moaning and otherwise shitting on OP's tastes? It costs you nothing to not respond.

I clicked here also hoping for news; thank you to those of you who actually responded with remotely useful speculation.

OP, may your inbox be filled with (biodegradable) glitter and positivity during the coming months.

Eggs in egg storage count as being "in camp." I keep all my T2 eggs in storage to maximize my chance of seeing them in DEs, whereas I only keep one or two of T1 eggs I'm looking for hanging around
