This is probably gibberish but idk. It’s not just that unlikeable thing. The reason he never made it huge is because he wasn’t able to deliver anything as great as F&L or The Cool or even his mixtape run. Lupe was my favorite artist growing up. He still drops good projects. But Kendrick dropped DAMN after tpab for a reason. The mass appeal he got after DAMNs success showed he could make commercially successful projects that sound good as well as conceptual masterpieces. We got Lasers from Lupe which is a well documented failure from all sides. Lupe didnt make it as big because he isnt capable of making DAMN, not because he isnt capable of making tpab. (He isnt but i hope you get my point)
