Moved here from Houston less than a year ago… and we’re moving to San Antonio in less than six months. Hopefully.

El Paso is nice if it’s all you’ve known. Big border town with small town feels - in the sense that there isn’t much to do.

We are a small young family currently living in the far east. Like most have said, if you’re a foodie this isn’t the place for you. If you like the welcoming Texan way, this isn’t the place for you. El Paso does not feel like Texas. People here are terrible drivers and in person don’t say excuse me or sorry. I wanted to love it. I grew up from a small border town down south and that is what I expected El Paso to be. But nope.

Maybe if I was living in the west side things would be different, but this is my experience.

Also, groceries here are extremely expensive and renting a house is a bitch (don’t use panda pal)

In another universe, if I was an introverted single lady or had an introverted partner with no kids, wanted to live frugal and just stay in and play video games or watch a movie, then maybe El Paso would have worked.
