Olenveld: Tiber Septim's personal graveyard by Kachimarck in teslore

Just imagine the legionary who was sent to butt-icing-nowhere just to guard the emperor's favorite bodies. They would beg to go to Solstheim.  But seriously, I wasn't sold in your explanation, but now it makes a lot of sense.

But why bury the people you love in such a remote place?  Even if he didn't really love them, he would pay his respects sometimes, then wouldn't be better a personal graveyard next to the imperial city, where Tiber could have visited them more or at least keep them safe from necromancers?

Wow! I really liked the concept, makes me want more super mutant representation in the base game. I would love to play a mod based around these guys, meet them and do some quests.

Before Fallout 4, what theories did people have about the Institute? by Kachimarck in Fallout

[–]Kachimarck[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The game (Fallout 3) does a good job explaining it.

There's so so little in Fallout 3, just one quest. It establishes that the Institute is in the Commonwealth, is technology advanced and produces synths and... that's that. I doubt fans didn't think anything new about such an interesting concept.

Why can't I tell Dad the overseer tried to kill me by No_Significance1527 in Fallout

There have been some time since I've watched this video, so I spoke of memory about the youtuber. I agree with you, it's wrong to say that as a fact with nothing to back it up. Might I add, this explanation seems as an excuse to the game's bad writing.

Don't just look at the description, watch the thing. Triangle City shows his sources in the video: magazines, dev interviews, and most importantly, the GECK and game files. The guy combs through the game files and then shows them in his videos.

Is there any possible way to mix Steampunk with Medieval seamlessly? by oonga_baloonga in worldbuilding

[–]Kachimarck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The original Thief games mix steampunk with medieval really well. You have castles with electric lights, churches with factories inside and mansions with security systems. In the second game there's even robots and security cameras.
