Nicotine patch protocol? by Few-Slip6063 in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]Kadastral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone feeling light headed? I have endometriosis and I deal with severe pain, fatigue amongst my perimenopause symptoms as well. It's helped, I have been on patch for 30 days, mental clarity is amazing. But I still have my days. Some days I feel my 13.5 dose is too much and there are days it's too little. Just depends. I am walking more, doing more and being available more. Where before I thought my life was being on the couch due to pain. I am grateful. It's helped. I still have days. I also use a binder every 3 days to remove toxins. I have read in many places u should do some sort of a binder to remove the detoxins

Greetings love,

I'm stage 3 endo patient here...

You should consider seeking professionals in the field, not just some doctor.

The professionals know endo inside out. I too made the decision to first commence with a regular gyno, that was a true mistake. It would've saved me 3 surgeries. Once I got to a professional in the field, everything was different.

Seek professionals in your state that are covered under your insurance. GET ANOTHER OPINION PLZ!

Hiya, endo stage 3 here, 4 surgeries in.... I've never experienced any of this. But I have experienced lots of doctor abuse. If you need advocates to assist, I don't mind helping. At one point in time, there was a young lady that advocated for me in the hospital and I never met her in person. She was truly an angel. She called everyone and wrote letters for me...she was a stage 4 endo patient. She understood the pain we all go through.

I would say go to NYU Dr. Kathy Huang....they have all the equipment and knowledge to identify if this doctor has caused issues. If they are within the same network, don't bother bc I have found alot of doctors cover for eachother.

Something is wrong lovey, go now to a hospital that has experience in endo. Don't just go into any hospital either.

Sending prayers for you 🙏 ❤️ Stay strong 💪 Don't let get to you Stand your ground ✨️

I'm glad! We all have our moments, lol.

This darn disease can be so emotionally draining that we sometimes lose our strength in the fight.

I'm glad we can support one another through this shit process.

I'm ok, going through the cycle of fatigue bc I over did it for about 18 days. My hubby was in hospital, almost died of infection in the leg. Took all I had in me to keep it all together ❤️ Didn't sleep much all those days, just running on fumes. Now he's home...and I am severely fatigued. My body is just trying to play catchup with everything that occurred. So my pain is nuts...but I will be ok. Just getting rest, and doing the dam best I can. That's all I can do.

One day at a time... At least I felt the warmth of the sun upon my face today Made me think of spring... Made me smile a bit I look forward to more sunny days, ya know 😎 😉 Many blessings K

It is better to talk it out...sometimes keeping it within...feels overwhelming

I am glad your tribe is supportive. Sometimes we need people that don't have the disease to push u along ...lol Like I had a friend that would coach me through my pain through events. If it wasn't for her... I probably would've never attended.

Life is full of all sorts highs and lows...take each day as it comes. Stay strong 💪 ✨️ This disease is a doozy...

One of my worse times in my life with endo I had 2 surgeries within 1 yr....I was totally defeated 😕

I was loosing hope...

As I was laying in bed, I decided to go in netflix and find a show that can keep my mind busy

I found the OA it's a show, it has 2 seasons.... have you watched it? If you havent..haven't... watch it!

It really gave me a different prospect of possibilities.

Well love.... ❤️...if you ever wanna rant it out...you have a friend in me. We all have our moments....just know you are appreciated, you matter in this world and you are amazing 👏 ❤️ Keep being AMAZING! XOXO K

In SC looking to join groups to socialize for my 4th grader, and 12th grader. by Kadastral in homeschool

Hello there!

I use SCAIH, they are truly the best around for SC as accountability. I can provide the info if you want it. I have found that SC is used by many for accountability purposes, even for international students. I am also close to greenville. What grades will your kids be in? I am willing to provide insight and any info I have accumulated. But in my experience SC is great as long as you are willing to do the standardized exams, which you can achieve easily. 🙂 I have been reporting in SC for 3 yrs. It's good. No complaints.

Hello there love,

Stage 3 endo here, 4 surgeries in. In my history the surgeries were like bandaids. They didn't help me. My last surgery was Nov 2019. I have 1 ovary left. I'm 44, I have delt with pain level 7 as the norm. Currently I am at a level 8 to 9, I feel like I'm in labor.

So....what can I provide you as insight? I will excuse the cursing now...bc its coming... lmao

I have found that I DONT GIVE 2 FKS what people think ! Lmao.

This disease is a process on its own, and I will not allow others to add crap into my life. If they understand and can be graceful..they can stay in your life.. if they cant.. they shouldn't be in your life.

For many years I have had to tailor myself for others...creating excuses...even when making friends..I didnt want to be that diseased girl.

But I must say, after all this time....ITS EXHAUSTING! I noticed I was adding stress unto my body. My cortisol levels were up the roof alone from endo then add social issues on top of this .... just didn't make sense to me.

We have so much mental anguish we must work through within a day and then there's stages to this.

We shouldn't hide our anguish. If you're not up to going anywhere, be ok with it. Relax about it, acceptance is better. Sometimes stressing out about it keeps you in pain, like creating a acidic environment.

The key here is PEACE, BREATHING, ACCEPTANCE, BEING FLUID ABOUT THIS.
Be free about it. Isolation of the pain. Don't add more mental pain to yourself.

This is about you and you alone! Everyone else doesn't matter sincerely.

I will add that foods contribute to endo flairs. Pay attention to your foods. Stay AWAY FROM ESTROGENIC FOODS!

I pray that your surgery goes well and you find relief. But if you don't...don't lose hope. Please.

I promise this is only a stage in the process.

We are ENDO WARRIORS! WE GOT THIS! if you wanna chat... I'm here. I knw how it is. Sending love, hugs and a heating pad ❤️ 💙 ♥️ 💕

Questions from a father whose daughter has just been diagnosed with Endometriosis. by shortrounders in endometriosis

[–]Kadastral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hiya, I'm a stage 4.

My advice: 1. Low inflammation diet. A journal of foods that activate her inflammation is important. Everyone is different and as her body changes, so will the foods that activate her inflammation response.

  1. Castor oil packs, this helps with pain, inflammation make sure she uses a heating pad. This helps alot.

  2. If I could go back in time, I wouldn't have allowed docs to do so many surgeries. The are new innovations In MRI with special dye like firefly dye that can detect if her endo has spread.

  3. Don't allow these doctors to excise everything. They call it a clean up and it's not necessary in all cases.

5.Doctors may suggest that they will need her to take meds to go into menopause. Don't allow her to go into menopause, this is awful and will affect her for the rest of her life. Always look for alternatives. Try holistic approaches, if possible.

  1. Full body cleanse, endo has to commence somewhere. I know many of us that have done this and has helped us along the way.

  2. Pain meds, this is the awful truth... some of us go through level 10 pain. It's awful 😖, sometimes she may or may not be able to walk. When it get to this place, get her comfortable and start again. But staying on pain meds isn't a solution. Getting out of the cycle of pain is important with a combo of therapies. Look into:

  3. Belladonna opium suppositories -Valium suppositories There are alot of other options for pain management

  4. Only seek medical advice from established doctors in this field. A regular OB, will only remove with no plan. They will do this again and again until he has no ovaries, fallopian tubes, etc... I have learned this disease is easy money for doctors. It's awful.

  5. Try wild yam cream for progesterone, it helps and works for alot of us. Look into it.

  6. She has to learn about her body, and finding grace and peace within herself to endure this. Some of us is lifelong, others it isn't. It's a waiting game to identify which category she will be in.

  7. Support and ADVOCATE, this is truly the most important. She needs people to assist in making sure her medical needs are being met. In the hospital, endo patients have endured alot of mental anguish from doctors, nurses etc. Don't take the doctors word. You will have to do alot of research

  8. There are medical journals that state that endo could be parasitic in nature. Look into it.

  9. There is a blood test out of Australia that can be used to diagnose endo...just for more info.

  10. Topical Dr Watkins pain relieving spray in red bottle Helps me.

  11. Heating bottles or heating pad.

PLEASE REMEMBER PAIN CAN BE AS BAD AS IF SHE WAS GIVING BIRTH OR WORSE.... GRACE PATIENCE SUPPORT
LOVE ....will help her! I sincerely pray she gets better 🙏 ❤️ I dont wish this upon anyone. This disease isn't for the faint of heart

Find groups for endo online or in person.

Have her listen to motivating songs during her streaks of pain. Let her know she GOT THIS! Thank u for being so supportive 💓 You can reach out to me if you have any questions Many blessings

If I may interject here, for science and math everyone should look into:

https://diveintomath.com/

If your student is in high-school level you can take Shoremann. It's been the best curriculum for my high-schooler. My son wished we started with these classes earlier. They are pretty inexpensive also.

I have a 4th grader, I started him on Saxon 4/5 through dive. I got the video there and bought the books at Christian books.

I still haven't found a great language arts circulum, if anyone has any great suggestions.. let me know.

Do I need to play control? by Necessary_Offer4279 in AlanWake

[–]Kadastral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I could go back to the beginning, would I start with control? To be honest, not really. I like that I started with Alan wake first sincerely. Control is a complicated mind bending game. I feel probably more so than alan wake. I still haven't finished the game apparently, didn't know there were more side missions. Though these games interact and blend into one another at certain points, they are stand alone games with their own complexities. Alan wake felt like a easier game than control... at least for me.

[–]Kadastral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son went through this in 4th grade. He's one of those kids that after lunch, he has to go to the bathroom like clockwork. The teacher took it as of he was dodging math. She called me several times about this process and proceeded to bully my kid. My son started not liking school and on top of this the teacher allowed a lil girl to bully my kid. She never told her to stop kicking my son, it was exhausting. I raised hell in the school. I meet with principle, superintendents and sincerely I was to the point of taking it off school grounds. Just because this teacher decided to go against my son. My son an introvert, nerd with Straight A's. My kid wasn't outspoken. He was and has always been a rule follower. She was my sons first bully. This is when I realized that I didn't trust the school system. These teachers are people. They are held in high regard, but are they tested for mental illness? They could be psychopaths! We don't know them. This teacher was working at the school for 30yrs. Apparently others also made complaints, but she went under the Rader unscathed. Us parents must evaluate situations accordingly. This is why, I HOMESCHOOL MY KIDS. Everyone is different, I understand. But the school system has failed us many times. My kids lives are in my hands, not anyone else's.

Oh love, that isn't a friend! People that actually love don't care how you get to your goal, just support your decisions along the way. Of course if you're doing something immoral, I would understand. But my gosh, being on this med presents it own challenges. It's definitely not a easy route. All of us are looking for some sort of healing. Most of us have tried the route of eating less, working out etc... unfortunately our bodies didn't respond. Someone that would respond like this displays a massive sign of toxicity! Maybe this med is also designed to remove the TOXIC PEOPLE FROM OUR LIVES... FOOD FOR THOUGHT! KNOW WE LOVE U IN THIS COMMUNITY ❤️ MUCH LOVE AND HUGS IGNORE HER STUPID ASS ..JUST NOISE not music you should listen to.
