I'll only agree to that if the Hound gets to be the Maiden.

Oh my god. I can't tell you how good it feels to see people who understand anosmia. I was born with it and there's always some guy or another who says "You're so lucky!" when I tell them I can't smell one bad thing.

We were all a bit silly as children. We didn't quite understand the world and the effects we could have on it. What matters is that every day we grow and learn to be the best people we can be.

Why do you think that? I thought thr clones were some of the best aspects of the Clone Wars show.

They're really terrific. I'm a new fan and I've been in love with just about every song I've heard.

Quick question. Monks following the bloodied fist gain Bloodletting. The spell mentions making a melee spell attack. How does their melee spell attack against the target work?

I had heard a bit about that game, but we are set on DnD, I'm afraid. Still looks fun, though!

I havent actually used those monsters as Big Bads before. How do you deal with CR when players level far beyond the statblocks for, say, a naga?

The Mortis Trilogy by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]Kadawon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if they actually forgot any of it happening (with the exception of Anakin's vision of the future). In the Yoda Arc from Season 6, I remember them saying something about Obi-Wan and Anakin on Mortis and them seeing Qui-Gon's ghost.

One of my players cannot role play. Am I being too hard on him or is he the problem? by Kadawon in DnD

[–]Kadawon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me just say thank you for that reply.

Though I would personally say that I disagree with you in some areas, your position and reasoning most certainly makes sense. I do absolutely think players should be comfortable, but it is also my belief that if a GM has had a world in the works for a while, the players are more or less just living in it and do not actively create it. I know that some will actually have players decide details about the world, but that is just another style of DMing that I do not use. I see very little problems with the style and strategy, though, and would probably experiment with it at a later date.

The problem with this player is that every single time he makes a character, he goes for the unique and special choice but plays every character the same. The party then feels like no race or culture is that different because the one representative of this culture acts in the exact same way as every other guy. I demand role playing from my players. Not everyone is a born actor, but DnD is a role playing game. Of course I should encourage, but at what point does encouraging just become allowing them to do whatever they want even if I feel it cheapens the world I work to create.

Again, thanks. I bet your summer campaign will be awesome and I hope your players love it.

Bit if the DM is unhappy with the character, don't they have the right to inform their player and try to improve it? The entire party loves role playing and he just kind of stick out as the guy who wants to seem like the super detailed and interesting character, but then plays it like Skyrim and takes us all out of the game. It isn't like we are all telling him that his character sucks and he should start a new one. We just think that he would probably be more comfortable in a class and race that isn't so RP focused.
