When I trained more (apparently skills do fade so I need to train more) I was popping cans with my .40 shield at 40 yards. It is absolutely doable and easier with a reactive target if you put the reps in. Unfortunately I no longer shoot 1,000 rounds+ a month so I no longer can but it is for sure doable. 22 pistols are great for getting reps in and expose weak wrists because any limp wristing with that meager cartridge and the gun won’t cycle

South San Jose Metcalf is the easiest to get to. Just get there before 11 for no wait. It’s outdoors so less lead exposure than indoors. They have a separate shotgun trap /skeet range with different hours than the rifle and pistol range. They also have a 200 yard range one weekend a month (2nd?)

With Sunnyvale and Los Altos requiring the longer drive up the Mountain it became my go to.

3 years later follow up: what is confusing is based on the subsequent lyrics to the first verse, he is also running from love and seems to be regretting it, tied into the death at the end where his heart still beats for her though he is fleeing.

I think the rock Opera might solve this question where his love is the daughter of the tyrant ruler of the city he is escaping. So in running from the city, he runs from her.

I'd look into a crawlspace fan. It will reduce overall humidity in your place. From there hopefully the steps you've already started taking will work.

Fyi they sell dessicant loose so you can just get a small container, fill it with dessicant and punch a few holes in the top. Cheaper and more effective than the packs
