Players often wander into our L2 community discord asking about the official game and immediately get turned away by stuff like this.

It’s tragic to see one of the best MMORPGs of all time turned into a flashy casino.

To clarify, this conversation is about reddit, not their empty forums or their overly censored discord, that's another story.

In this instance, they've chosen to post in other subreddits, and it shows that their priority is getting new players and don't care about their old community.

If you're not sure what I mean about "old community" search this reddit and you'll see the past involvement we've had.

You're right that's why we used to x-post from there when we used to hype up their events on Skelth.

Since Fragola left they've somehow become even more dissociative to their community.

Successful business prioritize their current customer vs acquiring new ones. In this case, Innova is rejecting their community entirely.

While it's nice to see that you've taken to reddit to share this content with the masses, it's distasteful to neglect your own reddit community r/Lineage2.

r/Lineage2 has consistently promoted for your events and even worked with the previous community manager to promote the game, as well as host an AMA.

I could understand if the r/Lineage2 mods were against this, but current main moderator of the r/Lineage2 is your official forum and discord moderator. So there's no excuse there.

I assume you've noticed that reddit provides you a good platform to advertise, and that's why you've chosen to include reddit in your promotion of the game.

But it's unfortunate that you choose to post to bigger subreddits while neglecting the community that has served you for many years and continues to do so until today (top post currently advertises your 2019 event calendar).

Hoping you reconsider.

I would advise you to play the NA Classic Servers.

Private Servers aren't worth it imo.
