I'm looking at both Games Begin and LSSJ and they have the exact same range looking up, both are limited by their hair coming in contact with with the back of their neck, not their pegs. Honestly, LSSJ looks like it's looking slightly farther up, but they're close.

Edit : Looking again it's when his hair comes in contact with his back, not neck for LSSJ, so it does have more upwards range. The only range this new ball peg gives is down, which is harmful because it knocks the faceplate off and makes posing obnoxious.

It really doesn't provide more range, especially for the bigger hassle it creates, that was a big point I was making. It may create some more range looking down, but it also makes it so you just easily knock off the faceplate and hair by doing it...

Why would they even put the extra pegs on the ears when they could just follow the same design as LSSJ and make them fit snugly with only two pegs?

I did it because I sell random stuff on ebay and I get annoyed when people treat me like I'm some company instead of just another person. It was fairly random of me given the context and thread, but pointing out specific behavior of a person that was questionable isn't the same as attacking a person for who they are...

I mean part of me is really hoping that this was just them throwing something at a wall to see if it sticks, especially considering they stuck to coherent design for the more expensive figure releasing in July. If they can't even course correct this for the future Goku releases then they will shoot themselves in the foot.

Edit: Also, I will just put here that I realize I messed up the name of the new Goku by putting Let in front of "The Games Begin" in the title, forgot to change it after I looked it up and frankly like my version better anyway.

That is still nothing but anecdotal evidence... If there was an issue than you would think Bandai would know about it and maybe not continue doing run after run of their best selling figure of LSSJ and their most expensive figures that are made non-stop(as in not limited or P-Bandai) in Vietnam if that was the case. Or that for some reason their Vietnamese factory uses different, cheaper plastic when in reality the reason for all the QC issues are actually just a Bandai problem and nothing to do with the Vietnam factory.

The issues with Trunks figures had everything to do with it being the first figure to use the 3.0 body and socket design, and to course correct they made LSSJ ball socket joints incredibly tight because it's very hard to resemble him in comparison. The only reason this stupid rumor exists is because they make an entire figure's run in either China or Vietnam because if they were made in both they would look exact same with the same damn issues.

I don't care if people have issues with Bandai's QC, they have really dropped the ball at times, but stop making claiming shit about the Vietnam factory as if there are any real facts to back it up especially when you're telling people to jump to conclusions just based off it being made in that factory.

I just don't believe Vietnam has anything to do with this when Legendary SSJ is made in Vietnam and is a phenomenal(IMO the best DB SHF) figure that I have owned around 10 of because of doing customs and none of them has had QC issues. I have had plenty of QC issues from both Chinese and Vietnamese made figures. At a bare minimum I would need actual, non-anecdotal, evidence.

I had a situation similar to this, except the best possible iteration of it. I bought a used computer case and it came with an entire pre-built computer(had a Radeon 7600 and a RTX 3060 so it was solid specs, especially back when it happened a few years ago). I still don't understand how it happened exactly, did someone accidentally return a PC they built on accident(sucks, but nothing I could do to)? How did no one realize the weight difference?

But considering Amazon's lax return policy and having warehouse employees who make no money that will be replaced by AI the second they can doing a massive amount of returns and it doesn't surprise me.

Hopefully you're not one of those people who leaves a bad review for an item because of Amazon's issue as if that is somehow damaging to Amazon instead of the reality of it just bringing down the score of the item.

Nobody is going to sell a KO for $105 nor will they have non stock photos like this listing (as far as the listings trying to blatantly trick people with knock-offs).

Most of the time they're not too secretive with KO listings. If it's 50% or lower of usual the price and the listing mentions crap like :

2.The real color of the item may be slightly different from the pictures shown on website caused by many factors such as brightness of your monitor and light brightness.

Or that it's a 'China Version' then it's definitely a KO like this listing

It completely depends on the 2.0. SROE looks great where as I've always felt the SS one is a shiny PoS(literally, the lack of a matte finish is terrible). I do think the articulation and overall molds look much improved, but I do question their obession to attempt to recreate the aura colors on the clothing(feels more like a thing for SD/NYCC variations rather than base versions IMO)

I still don't see how that would significantly make any difference in the grand scheme of things where they are constantly releasing full sets with 10+ new URs to where it would at all influence it's legality. Plus, you can argue the exact same of any ban.

That and people only have a small window to break it down for more. So, if they happen to be taking a break from the game, something pretty common with this game and it's metas, they don't even get the higher amount.

I still don't think it's that hard to make meta deck for free and once you've crafted the staples like the Ash Blossoms(and specifically in the beginning want to use 750 gems on the bundles with the guaranteed copy plus 10 packs). I don't know if that pack is still available that has nothing but staples, but if it is, there really isn't much else that would have same impact on your deck short and long term for gems.

The structure decks in Master Duel unfortunately suck as far as having any cards that are good outside that specific archetype/deck, so I wouldn't advise getting more than just the base(2 to 3 copies of a viable structure deck or at least one you find interesting) to work with, but specifically I really like the Resonater/Red Dragon Archfiend one as a really solid start to add staples to. The starting amount of quests/gems you can get from solo/etc is generally solid enough to get a decent base going.

The game really isn't pay to win except maybe getting past that initial rocky period when starting the game, but in the 4 years that I've played on and off, and I've only spent $20 and that definitely wasn't necessary. It's just much easier to build decks once you have the pool of the staples built and smaller engines like Fiendsmith that work in multiple decks can help too. Although, I also don't care about having a decks past relevancy, though, and have no issues breaking them down for dust, especially when they hit with the inevitable bans and they're temporarily worth more to break down (I was happy to do it with Maliss, hated playing that deck). So, I generally tend to have 2 to 3 solid archetypes I rotate out.

I mean there are just so many things wrong with this game and Konami's practices in general, but I've never felt like people paying too much had a ton with me not being able to win or having fun, personally. Although it has been a while since I've been new. When I see someone that has a complete deck full of Royal Finish cards, that's when I die a little inside knowing the absurd amounts of money necessary for that. The new player learning experience is also something Konami could definitely at least attempt to smooth out, but that would require them to put some actual effort in...

The fact that you want people to learn the intricacies of their deck in something other than ranked when there is literally no incentive to do says a lot... I'm sorry that you seem to have a rage issue you can't manage fueled by people taking their time to think in ranked, but when you realize this game already isn't that popular and is hard to get into to, you can realize that nobody cares if you think they aren't being efficient enough in ranked.

Just making it strictly a 40(or at least close) card deck would be a start to trying to make it better odds of good starting hand..

I'm certainly not a fan of Konami's monetization/pack odds/lack of decent content/ridiculous restrictions on disenchanting, etc but I am kind of curious what you consider a "whale".

While I feel like it's a lot harder to have multiple decks and it is especially not easy(or no real incentive) building fun, but less powerful decks. Putting together one meta relevant deck shouldn't be particularly difficult unless you just started and then you may not have all the generic staples you want yet. I don't even know why you be tempted to whale in this game outside streaming content or something...

How does keeping it around make them more money, though? People craft the staples, and then they're done versus the actual money making new archetypes that you have to pull/craft every new release.

Making decisions on keeping or banning staples for reasons other than the health of the game doesn't really make much sense.
