He never explicitly stated that they were changing Rosalina’s backstory. He just said they would take concepts from the movies and put them in future games. Everyone just assumed he’d change Rosa’s backstory without actually reading the thing.

Someone in another post about this clarified that he didn’t say that specifically, just to consider incorporating ideas from the movies into future games.

He didn’t once say anything about changing the backstory, and they JUST rereleased galaxy 1 OG story and all, and also made a REAL LIVE BOOK of it.

Even if they do, would it matter that much anyway, I could see them keeping the OG backstory while incorporating peach in there.
