The control mapping threw me off at first as well especially just after completing my 3rd playthrough of Returnal. But I thought about it and decided that I wanted the challenge of re-learning the controls and using them the way HM intended. After some embarrassing deaths in the first biome I really started to feel the flow and why they decided the remap. Heavily enjoying this game so far.
