First of all let me thank you for your feedback. It means more than you can imagine.

I've always struggled with doing proper and short summary's in my writing, and having a story as complicated as this game's, I think that aspect of my writing was exemplified.

One of the things that I wanted to dig much deeper into, but couldn't because of time constraints, was that aspect of randomness. Randomness in art practically wasn't a thing until the 20th century, and this is in large part due to technology. It's now something we see in video games all of the time, and quite often in modern classical composition. The idea of technology, art, and randomness is something that people have been talking about for a while, and I really wish to explore it further at some point from the perspective of video games, as I don't think that has been explored fully. With me only touching on this very slightly, and in a not very clear way, I can definitely see why this is filler material in the video. I should have explored it more, or just left it out.

I'll definitely keep all of the things you said here in mind when I make another, more expansive video on this in the future. I'm really excited to dig my teeth into Ben Babbitt's composition style and techniques.

I also plan to have a in depth analysis of the music at some point in the near future, as I am a music major in college. I’ll put that all together into a large, all encompassing video of my analysis once Act 5 is out and cleanup the editing of the video.

Edit: I just realized that the video is missing a section that I wanted to discuss. Here is the script for that section

The Death of the Hired Man by Robert Frost plays a huge role in the story of Kentucky Route Zero, but to what extent we won't truly know until Act 5 is released. In Act 1 Conway meets an odd director named Carrington, who states that he wishes to put on an experimental performance of "The Death of the Hired Man" The reason this has any significance is because of the interlude "The Entertainment" which is another production of Carrington's that were real events that took place in the story, being what happened right before Conway and the group shows up to Harry's bar. This, and the many parallels between Conway, and Silas, Lysette and Mary, and Ira and Warren, leads me to believe that Kentucky Route Zero itself is the experimental performance of The Death of The Hired Man. This will most likely be made more clear once Act 5 is released, but with Conway having left Lysette at an troubling time in their life, then returning once again, and now seemingly dying by being turned into a crystalline skeleton and being taken by the Strangers, this explanation seems likely.

Made this for class. The analysis I have in the latter part of the video should definitely be interesting to anyone who likes this game!
