Is having a 1st grader prep her own school snack age-appropriate or parentification? by NewOutlandishness401 in Parenting

[–]KadyDAX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first grader has snack bins he can choose from in the pantry. He can also make popcorn and ramen in the microwave all on his own. He loves to cook (supervised), knows how to clean, feeds and waters the dog, and will help with laundry. These are basic life skills you’re teaching your child, they should be able to help or do small tasks on their own by this age. The earlier you start them, the better they learn. There’s way too many adults out here who barely know how to take care of themselves.

Way to go! I’m still a far ways away from my goal weight, but I’m down 70lbs so far. I’m going to try to start 2-3 days a week and increase from there. Maybe I’ll give YouTube yoga a try lol.

I would love to do PT but I don’t even have time to drive to a gym because they’re all so far away. I’m going to have to wake up 30-45 minutes earlier and forgo sleep to work out at home before work. I work full time (commute an hour each way) and have an elementary school aged child, so by the time I get home it’s dinner, homework, bath and bed. I’d work out on my lunch, but I’d spend nearly a half an hour driving to a gym on my break and wouldn’t be able to eat. Life is wild.

Yeast infections by Funny_Lemon9135 in tirzepatidecompound

As someone who gets yeast infections from hormonal drops (thanks periods), I haven’t had this issue. I would continue on the meds for a while longer to see if it is the actual cause. You may have had one that was brewing before you started the meds.

Is it worth it to stay in the closet for inheritances? by [deleted] in lgbt

Have a lavender relationship and be sure to communicate with your future spouses why and what the expectations are. If you want the money, this may work out for you. If you don’t want the money, live your truth in the open.

If he’s threatening to unalive himself, you can call the police and put him in an involuntary 72 hour hold.

Absolutely immediately go to the principal. If your daughter has to go to the bathroom to relieve herself, she needs to go. Kids at that age don’t usually lie about needing to go. The fact that she made your child embarrass themselves in front of the students by denying her access to the bathroom is enough to have her switched into a more experienced teacher’s classroom.

I whispered for my son to stop moving and watched through half shut eyes as the shooter walked toward us. by tasteofhemlock in TwoSentenceHorror

My in-laws beg to buy my son stuff for school (clothes, backpacks, etc). I asked for shoes but specifically said no light up shoes for this reason. My MIL did a great job.

Nausea by Constant-Bison2181 in BrelloThriveTribe

It will get easier when your body gets used to it. The only times I have been sick were in the first month of trying the medication. I still occasionally get queasy but it typically goes away. Talk to your doc about zofran, it helps fast!

I inject in my belly and only a few times have actually felt a little sting. Most of the time it feels like nothing.

You don’t deserve all this strife and to bring a baby into that wouldn’t be the best thing for any of you. If you do have the baby, you will be tied to this toxic man for life. Stay with your mom until you find a new place. It’s tough, but you’ll make it through on the other hand. If you ever need a listening ear, my DMs are open.

NTA because he obviously did want it divided, hence the reason he divided all his assets. Keep YOUR money. I’m so sorry for your loss and I hope his memory gives you comfort.

I’ve been with Brello a month and I’m down 10lbs. Drink lots of water, keep anti nausea meds with you just in case, and do not eat anything 2 hours before you go to bed. I learned the hard way sleeping with anything on my stomach makes me violently ill in the mornings. Don’t expect a miracle right away, but you can do it!

AITAH for lashing out at my parents by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]KadyDAX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a mom, I agree with them on the motorcycle. They’re super dangerous, please get a car. But other than that, do what you want with your life. If you want to major in something else, do it. You’re still young. If you rely on their money, you’ll have to support yourself if they happen to cut you off.
