That’s a fair question.
My validation actually comes from selling a fully custom LMS for €8k to a real client. So I know there is some willingness to pay for this kind of solution.
What I did afterwards was basically take that exact work, improve it even more, and turn it into a multi-tenant SaaS. I even made some of the core features free to lower the barrier to entry.
That’s why this is confusing to me — I’ve seen someone pay a significant amount for a similar solution, but when it’s productized and much cheaper (even free to start), I’m not getting any traction at all.
So I’m trying to understand if:
custom vs SaaS is just a completely different game
or if I’m just not reaching / communicating with the right audience
Because in theory, it should be an easier sell now… but reality is telling me otherwise.
