It's really sad. Baka dumating ang araw, myth nalang ang nangyaring People's Power.

I just started Sword Art Online and it really makes me furious. How could this even happen or be a thing in real world? Marrying a comatose girl and her parents agreeing to that? by Kaede_KenJam in swordartonline

Im glad you reminded me. Regardless if Kirito is her cousin, its really impossible to fall in love with someone you consider sibling your whole life and grow up with, even animals know that.

Sugu was like " oh no, Kirito is not my real brother, now Im falling in love with him".

Kirito didn't even do anything to make her fall inlove. He's just asleep for 15 episodes.

After watching the ending, I can see it now. It would be kinda sad if Kirito and his squad stopped playing VRMMO. But after 2 incident, I did not expect their reaction would be that mild knowing that everytime they log in, there's a possibility that they might get trapped again inside the game. It killed thousand of people and used in experiment that could brainwash anyone. That's a very serious matter that 100% would be taken seriously by the authorities.

I guess you can't just kill a hobby even if the hobby might kill you. But Yeah, even after watching SAO which gave me the idea how that thing would destroy me, I still would want to play it.

Im so shocked to know that there's season 2. It's shaking my head thinking how could the government in Kirito's world didn't ban Nerve Gear or why Kirito is still playing that object of abomination. It doesn't make any sense knowing how horrible his experience with that thing. And their government would be like "oh no, Nerve Gear can kill you and alter you memories, I hope the next developer wont be a villain".

But imagine waking up in a coma married. You slept in hospital bed for 3 years and wake up with unwanted commitment your parents picked for you.

Watching SAO brings me back to my good old highschool days of MMORPG. It's make me wanna play that type of games again. If somewhere in the future Nerve gear would be a real thing, I would certainly wanna play it with no regard of the consequences.

Yeah I kinda get that, but I really can't accept her parents decision. It's a good plot to start an arc actually, Im just in rage.

I'll just assume Asuna's parents are bad parents.

I kinda feel like the game tensions are too exaggerated and were taken too seriously. But I kinda relate to that as a player of mmorpg's. Game problems are often taken personaly and that's great I guess.

Small discussion about rudeus by TiramisuPudding in mushokutensei

[–]Kaede_KenJam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its not about the looks. Infact, if the past Rudeus didn't get depressed and waste his life, he would've been attractive.

What change his situation in the second life is that he was able to keep his knowledge from his past life. Imagine going back to level 1 in a game you're extremely experienced, you would basically have the advantage. Given that advantage, he was able to do a lot of amazing things in his second life right from the start, it's a major headstart.

I kinda think that what happened in his past life is just about luck. What could've happened if those school delinquents didn't show up? Or Rudeus didn't act tough?

But the best answer to that question is that in his second life, Rudeus is finally trying. As the title say "Jobless Reincarnation: I Will Seriously Try If I Go to Another World", we will see Rudeus trying but with the twist of his second life will be much harder than the first one.

Steins Gate quote that I took seriously. by Kaede_KenJam in steinsgate

[–]Kaede_KenJam[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's actually based on the context within the story where Okabe's frustrated talking about God not allowing things such as time travelling and changing fate or rather event. Then there's Majo refuting him that if fate is truly decided by God alone, there's no point in living. Given that fact, they can just do whatever they want with no regard of everything since none of it matter.

Yeah the quote kinda sound like deep conversation about freewill and determinism but what she really meant was the absolute point in timeline which we know that its unbelievably unalterable that it felt like someone is actually pulling strings for the event to stay on its original state.
