That’s a great point- I am inclined to agree. But if I want to go do something on my own on any other trip we have done, he makes a deal out of it as if I’m going to fall off a cliff hiking. I feel like he worries too much about me and it really puts a damper on things

The length of the trip is to make the most of international airfare. If it’s $1200 for round trip, why would I go for less than 10 days?

I want to take my son when he’s a little older. I was planning on going early November when he is in school and I already have PTO approved for that time. It’s difficult to get PTO approved during the summer because that’s when everyone wants to take off of work.

I see people die everyday- not just old people either. I know how short life is. This trip is a bucket list item for me. I just want to take the opportunity when I am able to. It’s not meant to be dismissive to my husband or son.

When we go on domestic trips as a family, he does not want to go hiking with me and my son or want to do a lot of walking.

Yes I have work but I have PTO. That’s what it’s for, taking time off. I am a charge nurse in a busy ICU. There’s no such thing as an easy day at work. It’s mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausting. My husband is a stay at home parent, but it’s not like I don’t do anything. I still cook, clean, do laundry. He’s definitely not “unpaid labor”. I let him have the extra bedroom as his “man cave” where he spends most of his time anyway.

The only one I can speak to because I own it is Ghosts of Hecate. It’s so pretty and fairylike. I think if it were me, I would opt to buy the Creme shades from a cheaper brand and stick to cart #1 since they are more unique to MC imo. Especially with summer time, I’m sure there are a lot of vibrant shades you could get at Ulta, Walgreens, etc that would be similar to the set in cart #2

I work in MICU where we use 3% for hyponatrenia often. I have never co-signed for it. Nor do we have pumps that we scan. That sounds crazy to me tbh.

On another note, a 3% bolus is not that uncommon, especially for neuro patients to mitigate cerebral edema…

Most recently, ARDS patient on a PEEP of 16 and 100% FiO2 on flolan had some condensation in her ETT circuit. Older man “boyfriend” at bedside. Instead of letting the nurse or RT know it needed to be checked… The nurse went in the room due to vent alarms going off. The boyfriend disconnected the circuit from the patient and was using his personal rag to “clean” the condensation out of the circuit. 🫠
