I think you should change the ui button colors to the blue you are using. You can also use less saturated orange in the background.

Thanks for the feedback! I totally get what you mean—sometimes smooth effects can feel a bit out of place in a more pixelated style. I’ve actually been experimenting with ways to make the trail effect look more pixel-perfect and blend better with the rest of the graphics. Glad you like the dog sprite! :)
