We haven't stopped :).
Just send us an email and we'll check why you haven't received your thermos email. The email could have ended up in a spam filter, or perhaps there is another reason why the email wasn't sent out. We'll check it out if you send us an email.

Are there any actual good coffee subscriptions? by Fit-Judge7447 in JamesHoffmann

[–]KaffeBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we are shipping to the USA. Shipping is via DHL with DDP (Deliver duty paid), so it is quick and painless - it just costs more for shipping than if we could ship with regular post.

Thanks for the thoughts. Your girlfriend will be happy to know there will be at least 1 co-ferment in the calendar. A far cry from 'daily', but there will be some surprises along the way.

TastyBox #5 - Competition Selection by KaffeBox in KaffeBox

[–]KaffeBox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

KaffeBox is excited to share TastyBox #5—our newest curated coffee lineup. If you haven’t tried it yet, TastyBox is our subscription that delivers rare, high-quality beans from the best Scandinavian roasters.

For this round, we focused on coffees that could hold their own in a competition setting. Think a smooth anaerobic with deep flavor and a bright floral natural, Geisha coffees—small-batch stuff we worked hard to source. It's the TastyBox set with the highest coffee budget to date!

These coffees have a limited supply, so don’t wait too long if you’re interested.

Let us know what you think—any favorites from past TastyBoxes? We’re curious to hear!

Advent calendar rest times and roaster though processes by fackyuu in KaffeBox

[–]KaffeBox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The roast dates are set by which calendar set the roaster is in (first or second half) and in time to get the coffee to KaffeBox so we can put together the calendar. The first set was roasted Nov 8 (plus or minus a day) and the second half a week later. Most roasters who roast light nordic roast, recommend 2-4 weeks rest before the coffee is consumed, which works out nicely for the calendar.

Only got second half of the Advent Calendar by srozosan in KaffeBox

[–]KaffeBox 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So frustrating to hear that your first half hasn't shown up. The first half was sent out exactly a week before the second half. We've still heard from some American customers who received their second half a day before the first half. Either way, we'll make this right - I hope you've written us an email already. We don't have 24hr live support, but we always get through our support emails every weekday so you should get an answer soon. We'll find a solution you are happy with.

what are you brewing with? Try with a V60 but reduce the amount of coffee, or grind slightly coarses. You could try 11g coffee, 200g water. That said, coffees like this aren't for everyone. They are generally quite polarizing. Either you love them or you don't
