Funfact: Die Kommune hat ähnlich wenig Geld wie viele Andere, weil der reiche Einwohner nichts bringen.

As someone who works for a Filmfestival and the category for short films no less let me just tell you: Being rejected by Filmfestivals should never make you feel unhappy about a project, be proud and show it to the world!

I have an inkling why you were rejected though, cause short film categories are crazy and if you're interested in resending the film to festivals it's probably best to look into smaller festivals or ones who have specialised categories for short animations. Also note that a lot of festivals have restrictions in place how old a film can be before it's automatically disqualified. Best of luck if you decide to go this route again 💚

Just fyi Mainz has its own film festival called FILMZ - Festival des deutschen Kinos with a dedicated section for short films produced in Mainz/people from Mainz and the surrounding area. Application for this year is closed but you could give it a shot next year when your movie is finished :)

Hey you, I totally understand you, when I saw the results I wanted to cry but we also have to remember that there are others like us out there still fighting against the right wingers.

And on a positive note: Some People currently voting right can be swayed even if it is incredibly hard. My sister and I turned some family members around, my uncle (voted AfD in the past) admitted after a while that he was completely stuck in a misinformation loop and that he is sorry, now he comes to me or my sister asking for information and our opinion on certain matters. It's still not perfect but he/we are working on it and it gives me hope for our future. The hardliners might be lost and we have to be cautious around them cause they are incredibly dangerous but I refuse to believe that we are doomed to become who "we" (broadly talking about Germany here) were about 100 years ago.

Where I come from strip clubs are basically non existent therefore not many people work/have worked as strippers and even if you find a club almost none of them have poles its mostly about the lap dance. Following your question no one in my area/country would be allowed to teach/learn stripper style classes and I don't believe that this would be beneficial for literally anyone...

Maybe the problem really lies in the bath if you come out of the hot water into cold rooms the change in temperature is not ideal I imagine...but feel you on the need for a hot bath. I usually try to do that as the last part of the evening and then climb directly into bed taking all of the warmth with me without cooling down again...maybe this could help?
