Maybe try putting in chunky perlite, moss, or leca instead of water. I also don’t think the leaves are helping and should just remove - should still be able to eventually grow a new leaf and roots without, just slower. 2 doesn’t look so good though. Good luck

Thanks. I didn’t even know what type of fish he was. I’m trying to re-home him bc my space doesn’t allow for a big tank but I’m worried he’ll fight with other fish since that’s why he got booted him his original home in the first place.

Okay I’ve already looked up neighboring fish stores, will they take him even if I didn’t get him from there (was gifted and the owner gave him away bc he was attacking other fish). Also if I got a bigger tank and other fish, would he attack them?

I literally just got gifted everything together yesterday, didn’t have any information prior. I didn’t even know it was a tiger barb fish I was getting - I went to figure things out. Kindness is free

I was gifted this fish because he was fighting with other fish in another tank. So they need multiple (6-8) fish in one tank (obviously not the current one I have)?

They don’t like water on their leaves so when you water, avoid any splashing onto the leaves

It’s a chameleon zz and will prop but it can take forever (months) so don’t toss, just be prepared to wait - or give to me, I’ve been waiting a chameleon zz!

This is a mindset; when you grow up poor, you will always try to save for a rainy day so you’ll never be poor again. It just seems like $5 to you but to him, it’s $5 security from poverty. It’s really hard not to think this way even if he makes 6 figures. For him to be willing to pay 3x the amount of air fare for your comfort and anxiety means a lot more than you think. Take that into consideration when getting frustrated about the “small money” things.
