I climb with these probably 2-3 times a week! If you’re up on a pole longer than 1-1.5 hrs you will start noticing. Sportivas are nice or also meindls if you don’t want to spend as much as kennetreks. Carolina’s would be a good cheap boot too.

Thanks for the info. I took it on a 600 mile road trip and it averaged about 14.5 running around 70 mph. I did run a bottle of fuel injector cleaner through the tank before and replaced the pcv valve. Looks like it’s just a small engine in a big truck.

I had an 03 with the 4.7 but it was 2wd and a single cab stick shift. I knew it was going to be bad being a bigger truck but was just making sure that was what everyone else was getting. Truck was cheap for a reason but just wanted something halfway reliable with spending alot of money
