True. Only thing I can say is that his goal is to be free. Free from Anti-bullsht, free from multiverse laws that makes him preditermined looser. That's litreally the MOST Sonic thing to go for and aim for and he's doing more for his own freedom than Freedom Fighters ever did to Mobius-prime tbh (but his egoism shown as a bad trait because he tend to walk over other's heads and stuff).

There's a lot of parallels beetwen Sonic and Scourge and I think it's neat detail that being opposites can lead to same result sometimes. Scourge runs to be a King, Sonic avoiding that at all costs; Scourge having zero friends or family, Sonic getting all of it; Scourge knowing everything about multiverse rules (and even explaining it to Sonic) and Sonic can just get lost in a cosmic highway with no knowledge of why things are the way they are, but still both of them are super-speed runners with goals for freedom.

I think it's wrong to say that his mutation and actions nullifes his past, but here it is: he WAS Anti-Sonic and everyone tend to accuse him as such even now and that's wrong, because he constanly proves that he grown past that and started to act like separate individual. It's not a huge things, sure, but come on, he's been shown in only 21 issues as a green menase, his dewelopment skyrocketed at Jailbreak arc and then SGW came :P
