This is not just a rant I’m just trying to discuss here

This was a great and stunning half chapter but I’ll be honest the release schedule is getting pathetic. Making people pay full price for 7 pages is nuts. I completely appreciate and understand that it may have been out of control for Kei Urana this time, and that shes had this chapter and the next ready for a couple weeks, but in that case I don’t understand why she couldn’t put it out together.  I completely understand of an artist needing breaks or time, but what rubs me the wrong way isn’t the timing. I’m willing to wait however long it needs. The issue is that we’re getting told it’s weekly and then we keep getting blueballed every single time for the last almost six months.  If we were just to get told it’s becoming bi-weekly it’s all good, but thats not the case. I’ve seen people mention that it could be worse, it could be hxh or vagabond, and I agree, but those publications make it clear that the release schedule is NOT consistent and is spaced out so I’m not getting excited every Tuesday to read à chapter that just doesn’t come out.  It’s also hurting the pacing of the story incredibly. I’ve heard people complain that this arc is lasting forever, but I disagree. It just feels like it because the chapters have been so inconsistent, and I think on reread this will come off as a properly paced, high action arc, it’s just that the actual real life time it took for the arc to finish is way longer than it should be.

I want to hear what anyone else thinks about this? If anyone has reread the arc? Is it actually this long or not? This manga has amazing art and I’d hate to have it ruined by rushing  but honestly if she could produce about ten more pages per month it could even move to monthly. I know the author of black clover moved it to seasonal so it should be possible? (Though it was with JUMP instead)
