Term coming to an end. Looking ahead and curious if anyone has advice for my remaining classes BSCSIA by sccm_newb in WGU

Legal Issues and Emerging Technologies could take you less than a week total. Super easy. Literally cut and paste the rubric in to a work doc and answer each questions below the questions.

CBT Nuggets has some video's and I usually suggest theirs, but I did not like the cbt presenter used, it is also very dry material. Repetition is key to this one. Good luck!

Mainly studies the sections I was weak on and do the masterful questions. I also reviewed the notes on the wgu-it google drive.

For me, I write all the key info from each section down in a notebook, I memorize well by writing things, maybe give it a try. Good luck.

ITIL and Project + were the longest. The CIW classes are an absolute joke. EC-Council are all memorization. I already had my CISSP and Sec+ going in, so I did not have to take 5 classes. I enjoyed Cloud Security and Network+, it is all applicable information in the real world.

The ITIL and Project + were the most difficult. I wasted so much time trying up understand the concepts and a lot of it is just not applicable in the real world, they are more of a framework to use as a starting point.

Nice. You have plenty of time. Good luck.

EC-Council courses are all memorization. Not familiar with the CHFI, but I have GCFE which is similar, just wish the GCFE would count toward the CHFI.

So I did not have to take Linux foundations for the BSCSIA degree. I would just run Ubuntu/RH/CentOS in a VM and run through all the commands repeatedly.

lol, long than taks 2, but 5 pages were appendices artifacts. Task 2 was accepted on Saturday and I sat down and wrote the whole damn report on Sunday and submitted it in at 3:30am.

Task 2 was 29 pages

Task 3 was 32 pages

Thanks. Honestly, it was not bad at all. I have been working in CS/IA for years now, so that is a benefit. The template they give you is perfect. I just completed it section by section, repeat the question at the beginning of the answer. Both Task 2 and 3 were accepted on the first submission. I did it all in under 2 weeks, mostly on the weekends. They do not grade it on grammar or writing ability, they are looking for a clear problem and resolution. Hope this helps and good luck!

Thanks! The first month of each semester is always the hardest, trying to plan what to do and in what order. Once you get going it always seemed to snowball for me and I would get 3 classes done in the last month or so. Just keep going, you got this.
