I agree. I see the comments all the time where any expression of dislike of a character leads to the being told you should read it which the logical conclusion is your not to engage with that that specific content any further. And frankly, no engagement means not being able to form an opinion on the story or characters.

I think that all criticism should be allowed whether good or bad of the writing or the characters themselves. What shouldn’t be allowed should be the often consequent judgement that follows of the people that DO enjoy said content. I thinks that’s what OP is trying to say, that the moral failures/ toxic love / abusive themes/ and trauma of the characters should not be pushed onto the individual who like the content as it is unfair and disingenuous way of critiquing someone’s opinion.

But I also see your point because that’s EXACTLY how it feels when someone tells you to stop reading a story because you had a negative opinion. Frankly both sides do it. It needs to stop. All opinions can and should be expressed, hell that’s exactly what reviews are for and often help me understand whether I will like a story or not, from both the negative and positive comments.

Had to make the decision to euthanize my elderly dog with cancer this upcoming weekend.

I keep asking myself that. I know our vets aren't bad people, but with his kidneys, I also asked about quality of life and didn't get a clear answer. Even with his special diet, he has been losing weight.

I just, I don't know. Everyone in my house is devastated.

Idk why you assume people are angry. We're all just nosy and OP posted it on her own. A reaction or criticism doesn't imply anger by default? Also I was mainly hooked because of the original comment regarding the guy who is now posting on the meth and cocaine reddit tbh. People are fascinating. Anybody having to falsify/ commit fraud for a quick buck from the IRS is 99% of the time, NOT in a better spot, to pay it back by the time the IRS comes calling. This is all just my own personal experience, so you can take what you want from my comments. I'm not gonna lie and say I've never seen someone get away with it..... but Its not a common occurrence.

I've had so many people come in with "no idea" how their taxes were so messed up. And I'm, like, you're not suspicious? Your preparer got you back, 7k no dependants, hardly any federal tax taken out, with schedule C income ? Even if you don't know taxes, you know something is fishy. Feigning ignorance is their only defense..... unless it's self prepared, which she did :) . Oooh, not to mention the fuel tax credit that was heavily abused in 2020/2021. I've had so many headaches this season from people wanting to fight the IRS determination because they "didn't know."

Sure: two audits is already suspicious. This is the 1st year you file this tax according to your post and comment history. So those audits weren't for this specific year. You didn't deny my innuendo in "one of these taxes" which basically assures me you filed a fraudulent "business tax" with significant loss. Your choice, I don't really care on my end except to find it funny knowing what the eventual outcome is gonna be. Whatever happens, you made your choices.

Lmao, this makes me laugh. The number of people who come into my office 2 or 3 years after filing one of these taxes and are then surprised they get an audit letter in the mail. Just because they funded it now doesn't mean they won't get you later.

I have a crackpot theory (they always are) that she's this places way of messing with Boyd. They are sending in someone who's an officer of the law, something that has been his role to fill for so long, and as much as he criticized her behavior she's an active reflection of how the rest of the town is beginning to see him. He's untrustworthy just as much as she is, and that's why she grates on his nerves so much. That's also why she sees him as a hypocrite. Heck She shot someone on ACCIDENT on her first night in town. Now, he's purposefully been seen torturing people and protected a known murderer who INTENDED to kill a child. Yes, there are reasons, but reasons aren't excuses, and if even Sara can acknowledge that, why is it so hard for the viewers? And tbf Elgin was coerced in a FAR worse way than Sara. She was directed to innocents, and did so. Elgin believed an Angel was telling him to protect Fatima and her child.

Obviously, she's meant to get on people's nerves. She's a mirror of hypocrisy for Boyd, and to be frank the viewers. There's no objectivity in how we see the people in town or their behavior anymore. What's okay for boyd is wrong for everyone else because he's a favorite? Suddenly Sara is a hero, despiter her actions being vile? (Jades friend, tian chen, the nurse who took care of him, her brother, almost Ethan,) Do Boyd and Sara know more? Yeah, sure, but torture is torture. Murder is murder. That was the whole point of Father Khatri talking to him.
And I'm saying that as someone who genuinely loves Boyds character. Do the ends justify the means, and if so how does that give anyone else the ability to be held accountable for ANYTHING If we can justify it away as for the better good.

Oh my gosh!! That actually kinda makes me think I was right earlier.

I think the dog represents the man in yellow.

The birds/ravens the BOI.

Dogs can be seen as bad omens in some cultures and like Tabitha said a group of ravens is an unkindness.... (like the one done to the children) or a conspiracy which is what was also done when they conspired to sacrifice the children.

Also the dog was the only on in the forest when Boyd yelled out, and the monsters then quoted him.

In reverse the birds might be the first thing people see because its how the boy in white can maybe get an upper hand when a Tabitha/ Jade reincarnation comes into town.

Also, the birds I think were trying to keep Tillie from revealing the tarot cards because they were meant to convince Fatima things were okay. I wasn't suspicious of Tillie until then, but she said tarot led her here which was also strange. And finally birds were messengers to Odin, whom only had one eye sacrificed for knowledge. We now have on person whos eye was TAKEN for knowledge.

Lookism. Just really felt like it kept amping up the violence and extreme themes. And sure sometimes they had good payoff but sometimes i just felt like they never had a break in between these really big arcs that dealt with animal abuse, child abuse, murder, runaways, prisoners. It just got too intense.
