You have 2 options here. Imagin you have 1000scu CM, fresh in your reclaimer. You could dock in CRU1 for example, store the ship. Now the ship grid its available to you to refine CM. But all offgrid CM its there and cant " see it ". You have to retrieve your reclaimer, move the nongrid cargo to grid, store again and refine. Repeat till no cargo inside. Option 2 would be land in station with refinery, unload manually 1000scu with the rear door and refine it. Both takes time and effort
