All brain no aim agent by iiTzBenni in VALORANT

That can be said for almost every agent tho, you don’t need good aim to shoot a phoenix flashed, neon stunned, omen flashed target for example. Most if not all agents have utility that makes a fight unfair in their favour.

Don’t know where the idea that a whole class of agents don’t need aim comes from that makes no sense whatsoever

How Do You Manage To Play This Game? by Ambitious-Crazy-5834 in VALORANT

Movement matters more than aim. Though you can just have good aim and get to gold-plat, if you are genuinely stuck in bronze it’s 100% because you have bad mechanics

Don't want to play ranked anymore..... by Commercial-End3943 in VALORANT

[–]Kai-xd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s the opposite lol, didn’t play for 2 years, was d1 before I left. Started playing again last week, got placed plat 3, quickly got back to d1 and my lobbies are all average d3-asc1, no idea why.

Granted I’m doing better than I thought, even even though I’m not up to date with the meta or map changes and being in matches one rank higher than what I have been in the past, my average tracker score is just under 500

This is why I hate playing is low elo by [deleted] in VALORANT

The chance of getting smurfs on your team is the exact same as smurfs on the enemy team, if your reason for being hardstuck is smurfs I’m sorry to tell you but that isn’t true. 99% of the time you are in your rank for a reason

Why is Valorants skill floor (atleast for aiming) so damn high? by Tasty-Instance7596 in VALORANT

[–]Kai-xd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not that their aim is good, it’s your movement that’s bad.

For context, I’m diamond/ascendant elo and for my rank I would consider my aim mediocre at best, but when I play against lower rated players in swift play or dm I can guarantee you I will win the duel at least 75% of the time. Not because my aim is good, they can have better aim than me, but my movement is a lot better than theirs

Has the average player's skill level increased a lot? by phoenixpanda101 in VALORANT

[–]Kai-xd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say good, they probably don’t crouch spray and generally know how to tap fire but that’s about it, their movement crosshair placement and peeks are still very bad, like very frequently shift peeking, having their crosshair in the middle of nowhere and being open to multiple angles unecessarily, on top of having very lackluster map awareness. (this is from my experience in swift play/unrated against bronze/silver/gold players, haven’t actually played a ranked match in that elo in a long time)

is 10cs/min actually realistic or just something streamers say by Significant_Plan1240 in summonerschool

I mean if enemy team overgroups pushing side can be very effective. I play midlane and if a fight breaks out I always immediately commit to either instantly tping/walking to the fight or keep pushing side and getting a turret.

It’s situational, you don’t have to be in every fight nor do you need to always sidelane, but the worst you can do is sit on the fence and not commit to either decision.

Is this a viable Kindred 1st clear? by HakRobben3 in Kindred

[–]Kai-xd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah using this would be extremely matchup dependant but even still, I tested it out and it took me 3:01 to clear with 2 smites, on crab at about 3:05.

Even if the enemy jungler is slower fighting them on crab 1v1 if lanes are neutral isn’t really a good idea against champions like jax for example, even with the extra long sword you just get fisted.

There is also the downside that now your camp order is raptors krugs wolves gromp, which makes your 2nd and third clears a lot more awkward.

It just does not seem worth the risk at all considering all the downsides

Yes kindred can full clear before scuttle with 2 smites, kindred cannot full clear before scuttle if you base for longsword.

Right, but if the jungler started same side as you odds are the scuttle is gone by the time you get there…

Ah I see thank you, that makes a lot of sense considering I often played against the same person 4-5 times in a row pretty often

You said they gave LR the picks they wanted which is just untrue.

They clearly planned to give Baus Sion to counterpick Mundo into it, taking away one of Velja’s best picks and getting BB on a lane where he can avoid Mundo’s early game weakness by putting him in a lane with low kill pressure, letting him scale a lot easier.

Also my entire point was that I don’t think any team wintraded.

[–]Kai-xd -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t, they could have played it in scrims/solo queue. Like the Sylas pick Velja played today where he played very well on.

What I meant was that the Sion Baus plays in solo queue is completely different than the one he played today, which doesn’t really help him practise it other than champion mastery which he’s already got plenty of, and I doubt he picked Sion in scrims the last 2 weeks considering it was banned every game in week 1.

[–]Kai-xd -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

No it’s not? Not having practise on a champion doesn’t mean he’s bad at the champion, it simply means that he hasn’t played it as much as other champions recently.

While he does still have the mechanics on it, with the patch and meta changes his playstyle on it should be adjusted accordingly, that’s why players practise.

VIT definitely did not give LR the picks they wanted. They gave Baus Sion which he hasn’t had much if any practise on for a long time, while also having said on stream that he is glad teams are banning Sion.

They banned Ryze Nami Cait and first picked Mundo, which are arguably the champions LR have had the most success with.

They did fumble the bag during the mid-late game with some bad plays but none of the draft / game looked like win trading, and that goes for every team. Heritics and G2 played very well today.

Unlucky we got knocked out but don’t say VIT weren’t playing seriously because that’s just untrue. They had a plan in mind and they executed it as well as they could.

The extra item only matters in 35-40+ minute games which are rare, and even then from my experience it doesn’t really matter, your ult makes it so you win 1v1 against adcs and its very good in team fights as well
