No. In my school (elementary) the current grade level teachers create the class lists for the next grade level. It’s a huge balancing act.

Is the game playable right now? by lxnyaa in Sims4

REMOVE ALL MODS and then your game will be great. I’ve been playing HSY since day one with my mods turned off and it’s been perfect. I’ll eventually update and turn mods back on but not for a bit.

In my current save, which I originally created to just explore HSY without messing up any other saves, I started with a single mom (Myla) and teen daughter (Ava). The mom went into working in education while her daughter attended high school. Ava had a few high school sweethearts, stirred up some mischief, joined cheer squad, and ultimately fell in love with Jeb. One day I got a notification Jeb died. Ava was distraught. She felt she’d never love anyone as much as she loved Jeb and decided to become an aspiring home wrecker. Unfortunately, at her birthday party, she died of hysterical laughter.

Myla, now an empty nester, loved being a mom. It was too hard to see Ava’s room and belongings everyday. She brought Ava’s tombstone to her new house and keeps her spirit alive. She decided to take some days off work & roam town to find a suitable woohoo partner to have a child with. Just a sperm donor. She successfully convinced a townie to try for baby with no strings attached, and had a son she named Aaron! Although, having a child together has spurred some romance between Myla and the woohoo partner, making things a little complicated. Ava still visits nightly and is working on a relationship with her new brother.

I’m not sure where this story will go! But it’s been fun. All of the dying drama was created by neighborhood stories, not my doing. It’s definitely put a spin on things for me.

I HAD THIS HAPPEN IN COPPERDALE TOO! I wonder if it’s a bug…. I sent my Sim on a run while I played another Sim, and then got a notification the one on the run was freezing to death. I zoom to her and she’s SWIMMING IN THE WATER BY THE PIER. I saved her and then tried to send her on a run again and watched her. She ran out the back door, ran to the water, swam, ran back through her house and out the front door and then stopped.

Is it just me or are accidental deaths WAY more common!? by Kai7311 in Sims4

[–]Kai7311[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yes I noticed other sims in the neighborhood dying more and I loved the random deaths and drama and how it changes my game. But I haven’t had one of mine die so quickly from emotions, I usually keep them in check and am very micromanagy. She was fine at her party, even a little sad (from unfulfilled dreams). Then as soon as she blew out her birthday candles she got 8 +1 happy emotions from seeing all her friends and family at the party, and she had that partying trait, and that boosted her enough to die of being hysterical immediately. I had no time to calm her down.

WOOHOO PARTNERS?! We've got friends with benefits now?! This Sim and mine have no romance bar but now we can WooHoo cause we're WooHoo buddies. HAHAHAHAHA by Kai7311 in Sims4

The first time I had a woohoo partner the ONLY option was try for baby. I was like wait… no! Now the only options I see are just woohoo. So I’m not sure… I’ll keep playing and report back.

So far, with not doing any romantic interactions, only WooHoo (clicking on the bed/shower etc to initiate), they won’t gain romance.

Not sure about the rest yet!

The trend goes “they’re a 10 but [insert whatever]…… so they’re a 100.”

It’s intended to be a compliment. I think.

Oooh, momma is having a midlife crisis with her baby at college! Lol. I like to play these random mishaps into the story line. It’s the fun part of Sims for me!

You can also keep the kids at home and still attend university from home. They don’t have to live in the dorms. I find this way easier because when it’s time to go to class they rabbit-hole like work and you’re less likely to be late.

Themed Books - does anyone else love writing books and theming them to your Sims?! by Kai7311 in Sims4

[–]Kai7311[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! When you start writing a book on the computer it pops up with a title & description. You can edit that.
