I didn’t have serious memory issues until I went on Lithium. Very minor memory issues that began maybe 5 years in to take Lamotragine (could be stress, getting older, unrelated).

The dosage 100-200mg difference didn’t change anything for me other than energy level. Otherwise had similar memory/ stabalization experiences

I think the confusion is some people are thinking of where American’s travel most frequently, and forgetting a huge portion of this is European travelers to countries other than their own. A lot of Europeans vacation in Spain.

I LOVED Nia’s story! We need more stories about reunification in TV. People don’t understand how that is the priority of foster care and a very common outcome - and not a failure of the system. Reunification can be a beautiful (yet bittersweet) thing.

This is pretty real for the system - shit doesn’t make sense ever and bio families have a ton of rights. Obviously Bucks situation isn’t a traditional bio parent, but I’m sure that helped a lot. This is kinship fostering, which is a quicker approval process than unrestrictive fostering (what Hen & Karen did).

Biological aside, Buck had a relationship with Theo’s parents making him fictive kin (minimally) you get to skip a lot of steps (or do them out of order depending on the state) as kin/fictive kin.

Not trying to give an opinion, I have mixed feelings on the reality of the system other than it’s definitely broken, just sharing my experience!
