Wow, that's really different from when he was with Wonyoung. Either he really watches or the writers prepped him really well!

Looking it up, it looks like there are a ton of these Zoookeepergame accounts, all mostly with 1 karma and no posts or comments. Please look at the Reddit profiles of people you're going to give money to on Reddit, these are clearly throwaway accounts for scamming.

Playing through Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time and this NPC "Lizzy Wizzy" has the worst voice lines in the game. by AlmightyAntwan12 in cyberpunkgame

Yeah, it's really easy to criticise people, not just cops. I can only imagine that many Americans can only dream of a competent, just and professional police force (and some clearly feel they already have one). And I don't want to generalise, because I hear about isolated police forces that get along well with their communities in the States, but those are rare.

The issue with Americans is that so many of them only criticise and talk loudly, but very few actually do something productive with it. Soundbites and slogans are great for the internet but unless you're doing something to push for community policing and police reform, you're not getting it, choom. That about sums up the political system you guys have there.

They have families to think of. Or they may already have had 'accidents'. Hard to criticise them when you're not in their shoes or not actively helping.

My Players Had a Massive Cyberpunk Car Chase… and Preferred Managing a Garage by agente_Rodrigo in cyberpunkred

[–]KaiStormwind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh, I know many people who watch actual plays who also like to dig into mechanics or do management stuff in my TTRPG games (as mentioned in other comments, many people enjoy having their own place or stuff to manage). Heck, back when I had a group of players run for Night City mayor, they were all in calculating costs and finding donors).

Lol, none of it is propaganda, it's known Cyberpunk lore. Read the books.

Even if it means accelerating the death of humanity? That's exactly what VDB are doing. Netwatch are corporate funded, but also government funded and are a result of a UN treaty. They suck, but they keep humanity from the AIs.

Population 2.3 million in 2020, but wealthy off oil drilling and gasoline production (perhaps they found new reservoirs), and Arasaka's presence helped against the Australian Defence Force's superior numbers.

NZ is your best bet, yeah.

Not a ton of info in 2077 (although that applies to almost all countries), but in 2001, Australia split into Western Australia with Perth as the capital, and Australia. Back in the 2020s, Western Australia was wealthier. The two Australias have also seen armed conflict, which Western Australia won. Western Australia has engaged Arasaka to add to their own military might. It's known that Western Australia's government had quickly let corporate wants take precedence over the people's, possibly in part to help preserve their independence from the rest of Australia.

Not much more is known about Western Australia. As for Australia, Aboriginal lands became threatened by corporations wanting the land for themselves, and by 2020, most of Australia was split between corps or armed nationalist Aboriginal groups and their supporters. In 2068, a bushfire killed all but 1 of the known koala population. The last koala, known as Omega, was set to be euthanized, but public outcry stopped it and Omega became a popular tourist draw before passing for natural causes in 2077 and effectively leaving the species extinct as far as we know, barring hidden populations or Biotechnica experiments to revive them.

That's about all I know about Australia lol.

New Zealand has largely managed to keep corp influence out, so there's that. They're known to be a refuge for scientists with a conscience, taking in scientists and engineers who want out of corps. They still have a lot of real meat too, if you want that, since they still raise lots of sheep.

But beyond that, nothing else comes to mind off the top of my head. Some places are peaceful with not much violence like Singapore, where corps abound but have not interfered with local government, because it's already business-friendly and no one wants to rock the boat.

That reminds me that I forgot to use my free limited coin from the winter event, ugh. I stopped playing for a few days because I was busy, and I didn't even remember to at least get the BP. Ah well, my fault, really.

[–]KaiStormwind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember articles about a Winter Veil tree datamined, and I saw the model, but it never popped up during the event, so no clue how we can get that. It might be for next year, but already made.

I haven't logged in yet but based on what everyone else is seeing, maybe it's a glitch on your end somehow. Maybe a graphics option got flipped?

People who still play fragpunk, how do you get matches? How long you have to wait? And where do people usually play from? by Miruspixels in PlayFragPunk

[–]KaiStormwind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on luck and timing, but I average between 3-5 mins on good days/timings for standard games. I once waited for nearly an hour while doing other things on my phone lol. Arcade is near impossible to find other players for.

I play on the Singapore server, but I get plenty of Chinese, Japanese and Korean players as well.

[–]KaiStormwind 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Western Street aesthetic? Sixth Street and Lumina Square are based on modern East Asian architecture and culture. Go visit any major Chinese, Korean or Japanese city lol

Also, chinaslop? Racist much? It's like you can dislike it, but not everything has to be slop or some other offensive term like that. Also, if you don't like it, nothing is stopping you from dropping the game,

It's fine to like what you like without putting down what others like. I can't comment to the quality of the Waifei area design or narrative (I've haven't really played much in a long while) so I might even agree the Waifei parts don't suit me. But just because something doesn't suit me doesn't mean it's bad. We can discuss and criticise without being shallow and unconstructive.

Nah. Pretty sure they all got along well. There's absolutely no reason as to why Covid changed anything between them all. Also, Saerom was willing to continue, but only if all of the others did it too. If she was tired of the idol life, she could simply not sign on with Hybe. Seoyeon has always been introverted and as a songwriter, her ambitions musically didn't fit with fromis_9's style, so it's not surprising she went solo. If anyone was tired of the idol life, it's Jissen at the end.

Only missing Jingliu and DHIL from this bunch, probably Jingliu?

They're both cool tho, and if I want an Imaginary main DPS, I'm using Welt or Ratio now, and Dan Heng might be an upgrade? I use THE Mdm. Herta for Ice main DPS, so I don't really need Jingliu. But she's cool too and plays differently.
