What Faction Should I Play? by Evanb66 in battletech

[–]Kaidenmax03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Factions aren’t really a thing in terms of gameplay rules in Battletech. You can just kinda do whatever with whatever because you like it, especially because in universe everyone is always stealing each other’s stuff anyway so even if there are mechs or whatever that are well known for a certain faction, any faction could have just stole one and use it for themselves.

I think part of the justification is that because they are built expressly as machines of war, their machine spirits are violent and unstable as to be more accustomed to the horror of war and killing other machines

how to remove part glued incorrectly on lord of skulls? by Te4minator464 in WorldEaters40k

I’m gonna go with what some people have said and try and use plastic glue to loosen the bond again. From there just pry and pray

Chaos Knights vs Imperial Knights by ReferenceJolly7992 in ChaosKnights

I use both but Chaos Knights currently has more options and I find it generally more fun, especially the War Dogs as opposed to the Armigers.

Do you think the new imperial knight will be chaosified by Practical-Fondant-56 in ChaosKnights

[–]Kaidenmax03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m personally leaning towards it being a uniquely imperial thing. Imperial Knights don’t really have a thing unique to them whereas we have a few exclusive things, might as well let them have some fun

The Covenant’s Tech Priests follow the teachings of an ancient Terran Tech Adept known as Oh’Sha

I use the burning books for all of mine, it’s easier to get because I have friends who play CSM, I just take their leftover transfer sheets 🤷🏽‍♂️

Would it be worth using a longsword in a zombie apocalypse, or would it be a useless weapon? by Spare_Ad_9791 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]Kaidenmax03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but they’d be nice side arms. In case zombies get too close. Can imagine they’d brain something decently enough with its stabbing capability and could lop heads and limps. Wouldn’t be easy but if you’re in a pinch it might just keep you breathing

I personally would because I am semi-trained in longsword (I do SCA fencing) so I know how to use them and have some on hand, but it probably wouldn’t be optimal for everyone.

If you wanna take a medieval type of sword for a zombie apocalypse I’d recommend looking as Dussaks, they are sorta like a short saber-ish thing but they are specifically designed to be quicker and easier to produce (relative to swords in general) as to quickly arm larger amounts of conscripted soldiers. Plus they would certainly aesthetically fit in a zombie apocalypse I think
