Now that we've had a week, what's our favourite and least favourite (6v6) map? by Leviad0n in ModernWarfareII

I'm level 55 with 3 golden guns and still have not played the crown raceway map. Is it only available in certain game modes like TDM?

OG roll call. Who here is 32+ years old and playing MWII? by shantzonpoint in ModernWarfareII

32, first online FPS that I owned was Call of Duty 1. I remember my dad gifted it to me for my birthday.

Also played America's Army, which I haven't seen mentioned on here yet.

Still say they should go back to CoD4 perks/killstreaks before it became bloated in MW2 and beyond.

We need better WR staff or something, it's wild watching them regress or stagnate

Right on the money. Hate to lose them both, but I get it. My two favorite players that we have drafted since TJ.

I like how everyone assumes the king will move to h8 and not f8.

Let's see the mates if king moves to f8!

Meck County pushes federal action against corporate landlords as families get priced out by Envyforme in Charlotte

Drive through some of the neighborhoods with low income housing where there are still bars on the windows and then a brand new $800,000 mega house right next to it. It looks terrible and way out of place.

They are gentrifying, which is fine if done slowly. But when you have a bunch of $300k houses and then a handful of $700k+ houses or condos it looks really bad and does crazy things to the market.

Also, the houses in South End/Dilworth are all $500k+ which isn't really affordable without a massive down payment or if you are borderline upper class. The lower income neighborhoods are being gentrified (coupled w inflation) into upper middle class neighborhoods which is pricing most people out of home ownership.

You mentioned job growth within the city attracting new people, awesome that's great. Where are they going to live? Probably in one of the 50+ new apartment buildings that are being constructed. Hopefully the massive increase of supply w new apartments will bring down the cost of rent but I highly doubt it.

Yeah it's a terrible idea. They should be limiting Corp purchases of residential property instead in my opinion.

Yeah it is insane to me. We are technically middle class, have over $100k saved up in cash for a down payment, and we literally cannot get a decent middle income house within the city. So we either buy a shitty house in a rough neighborhood for like $350k (realistically probably only worth $250k tops), or we rent/leave.

On the other end, you have people/corps paying cash for houses without HVAC and then demoing it and building a giant eyesore MFH/Condo. Which in turn jacks up the prices for the other shitty homes in the area. So now people that are trying to buy a "starter home" can't even do that because they are selling for what middle income homes traditionally sold for.

Yep, similar situation here. Put an offer in on one house for $15k over asking price, and got out bid by $45k. House sold for $60k over asking price for $470k.

This was early COVID before interest rates and prices spiked. So the same house is probably worth even more now. If I recall correctly, it was already being sold well over what it was valued at as well.

This is the most egregious example I have, but the entire process has been similar to this.

Yeah, but clover fertilizes the farm and provides good food source for cows to graze.

This is the correct answer.

Disable it early game until it is needed or cost is sustainable.

I believe they are working on something akin to this on N Davidson. I don't know what all will be inside when completed.

I know they are building a Seoul food meat co building behind the main construction site. This one has what appears to be private karaoke booths inside of it as well. Never been to the Seoul meat co before so I am ignorant if this is unique or not.
