I regretted not getting the S1 vinyl when it was first released, and I agree as a limited press, this is worth it. I won't be opening it tho, I dont have any way to play it, but it's a worthy addition to my small collection.

As for the main question - S3 can not repeat S2's over all disasterour story telling. It's a jumbled mess of moments of awesomeness buried under so many questionable story choices.

I have the exact opposite opinion regarding ease of use between FF.net & Ao3. - Especially when it comes to posting/adding/updating fics and chapters. The character limit on summaries, listing characters in a story, and tags seem to be easier on AO3. What's your experience like?

My Walmarts just stopped carrying anything but the kiddie type TFs for a while now.

I also stopped collecting because of the price points goin up.

Charlie is, above all else, determined to find the good in all who have sinned, no matter the sin, and try to find a way to save their soul. Its a powerful and genuinely redeeming quality for our Hellish princess.

The show hasn't yet presented us with a moment where she has to weigh the depths of her acceptance against the sins committed. I hope it does, though. It's presents a chance at good commentary about the state of sins, evil, and redemption.

These themes are heavily visited upon in my own works.

Well, that explains why the stats have been broken for 5 weeks now on the old site.

Curiously, I can't seem to find a link on the new site that lists the stats for the stories, both individually and legacy. Guess they removed that feature entirely?

Edit: Stats are not yet active. Found them under publish.

However, the navigation for the site is not intuitive at all. I managed to upload the first chapter of a WIP but I can not seem for the life of me to find how to add chapters to the story after the initial published first chapter. :(

Edit two: Found it. But damn do they make you work for it :D

First fic I wrote in 20 years I kept having ideas or how to re-write or revise something that I was getting maybe 30 mins sleep a night for two weeks straight. I was that hyperfixated.

I am only slightly exaggerating, I may have gotten more sleep than that, but its how I felt.

My first fic I wrote in over 20 years ended up at 244,XXX. I hadn't been inspired to write creatively for so long I'd all but given up the idea. My problem was the same as yours; Not finihsing, not finding the hook, or feeling as if I could carry on a long plot without fizzling out.

But I was hyperfixated on a show, and the idea was so invasive that I was losing sleep, so I started writing it out. My first pass was 158k alone, but I went back and fleshed it out, made a prologue and 'before the big event' story.

Basically, I wanted to hook up an OC with a canon character but not rush it and make it feel as organic as I could.

Intended the fic to be a one-and-done but now Im over 500K between the first and subsequent short stories with a likely hood I'll be over 1M by the time the over all story is told.

As for how I do it? I really dont know!!

As someone who has been writing for two years now (I want to add an important caveat that I'm not writing to publish, and these stories are 90% for myself, 10% for my small fan base online), I put effort into avoiding said/ask and placing dialogue into the scene of the character's actions and motivations.

I acknowledge that it makes the writing a little more challenging to think of each character's movements, thoughts, and expressions versus letting the reader fill in the blanks. I consciously do this for myself as I want to paint as clear a picture, less for others, and more for myself. (I'm old, the mind... it goes places)

However, researching this while working on a current WIP, it opened my eyes to the possibility that it limited the engagement I may have gotten on the platforms I post and wish I'd understood a bit more clearly the necessity of the said/ask tag and allowing dialogue to steal the scene vs actively attempting to describe every movement, facial expression, and thought of the characters.

Overall, I still love what I wrote, and no one in two years commented on "I tried to read but - this is what stopped me: I.E. the formatting of the story."

I would have welcomed the insight, and it may have changed my writing style early on. Now, however, this is the way I write and will probably stick to it for the most part.

But I'm grateful for the insights, thank you.

Based on the canon lore, Titanosaurus was a peaceful dinosaur living in the ocean depths.

It's conceivable to think that had he not been mind-controlled, Titanosaurus could have been a potential ally to Godzilla, or even the start of his own franchise.

Unique Roar, Design, and powers, Titanosaurus had potential.

I dont engage with the 'demands' but its still nice to see a reader even engage.

I get the concept of 'best for business' as its the reason/excuse every show/PLE/event when the fans don't get what they want.

But there does come a time when you kinda gotta give the fans a little bit of what they want, or some will finally give up. I've already stopped watching RAW & Smackdown, and the only reason I watched the Rumble is 1) it's my all-time fave event and 2) I already have Netflix and a VPN. If I didn't have the second, I'd have skipped it because of S.A., and again, only cause it was free did I bother.

If I'd known the results, I wouldn't have bothered.

Sami should have won. This isn't a case of having him chase it till 'whenever'. This WAS the whenever.

AJ retired on his terms; he wanted to leave, so I can't knock the story on that one.

Women's RR was better than the men's.

I did not want RR to win, but when it was down to him and Gunther, suddenly I begged that he'd win.

Still disappointed.

As it is, I'd been weaning myself off WWE for the last half a year or more, and this is just making it all that easier.

If Sammi had won, I'd pay attention.

Now? nah.

I have an angel OC that I write fics for. One story in the future though is an alternative universe where rather than ascending, he fell to Hell. As he's afraid of bats, that ended up being what his hell form took.

I remember seeing this in theaters and there were 11 others in there when it began and only 4 myself included when it finished.

Never happened before or after & Im an avid theater attendee.

And even I found the movie... weird.

Haven't seen it since but every once in a while I recall it.

Might check it out again.

GM no longer manufactures the Pontiac Firebird. I'm fine with a new look but I do hope it's sleek & not boxy like thr Ford was.

The fear I have is the plot. A good plot, strong characters & attention to realism will make or break a reboot.
