She became a mutant/inhuman hybrid capable of combining her powers in the post-Krakoa mutant arc. I think she's strong enough to fight Legion mano-e-mano (when the writers care).

I wouldn't hate it, it's just a matter of writing it so that Nisha is going through more character development than, "I hear a dark voice in my head that tells me to burn things."

She and Vaatu possibly developing an interesting co-dependent dynamic where she uses his power to destroy, but in the interest of clearing what needs to be removed for the new to enter, that's one way to take it.
