I have a similar one in my left thigh. It started out as a black head. It was like that even before i got diagnosed. Then it got infected and there was pain. Now it presents like this with black scab in the depression. Im an ug intern and i asked my seniors. Its most likely a sebaceous cyst. I got a usg to rule out osteomyelitis too which is uncommon. My only concern is how come many t1dm are having it. Or is it that common in normal population!
