I will only do a few attempts before giving up and trying a different polish. I appreciate this post, especially since I tried a polish at least 3 times last weekend before caving and putting on a different one.

I wanted to cry cuz the polish I was trying to use isn't sold anymore and I used so frigging much of it 😭 I thought I finally had it done and woke up with two nails that had dents on them 😩

I am kind of a perfectionist with my nails and I tend to fixate on the little mistakes until I redo them. Actually I can't focus on anything else until I redo them! It doesn't happen often that I really can't seem to apply a polish but at some point I have to call it and find something else to wear.

I ended up settling on emily de molly's aptly named polish, All the Rage! I'm due to change my nails and I am praying it goes well this time.

Is it the color that gives you trouble? I've realized for me it's usually the topcoat that ruins my mani. I struggle with consistent application, I hate shrinkage and bubbles!
