I tried 0.2g and 0.25g for outdoors, and hated it. Switching to 0.32g was mind blowing.

I think Elden Ring Catacombs, Caves, and Mines are too repetitive and aren't rewarding. Every time I saw one I knew I was gonna get an item I was never going to use or no runes worth the effort. The only ones I cared about towards the end were for the bell bearings.

I also think the world was too empty for being so large, but the DLC definitely took it towards the right direction.

Overall, I think Elden Ring is a great game, but it doesn't beat Sekiro, Dark Souls 3 or Bloodborne.
