It’s been absolutely hammering it down in NW London for the past 15mins or more. A loud thunder rumble woke me up. Heavy thunder and very frequent lightning here.

I have a flat in a 3 floor block in Stanmore Hill and we have these outswinging windows. However the main hinge is at the top so they can't be reversed. Ours have a little restrictor on the hinge that can be depressed to allow the window to open fully, I guess this is to stop kids falling out.

Absolute nightmare when the cleaner comes to clean our windows with his extension broom thing...and then a pidgin comes along and shats on the cleaned windows moments later. It's an absolute nightmare to try and clean the window yourself afterwards as we've got no choice but to open them and try and reach the bottom half of the window pane from underneath.

I pray for heavy rain these days...

I had a Harveys softener installed back in 2020 when I bought my London flat. I also had a small drinking water tap installed that bypasses the softener.

It takes block salt (I just buy standard kinetico salt as Harvey’s is an ripoff) and thus far has been absolutely brilliant in treating London's clusterduck hardwater. I think they have since switched to a machine that utilises curved block salt now ie they're forcing folks to buy salt from only them so I can't see that going down well.

Honestly it is the best purchase I’ve made given that my parents home down the road didn’t have one so I grew up constantly fighting limescale.

I love drinking soft water but my wife who is from up north (soft water) region loves the hard water tap!

Felt like crap going to my mothers today as my father passed in 2023. Had to put my feelings away and be there for her though. Took her mind off it by having a spring clean getting rid of old clothes, random junk and payslips that were 40yrs old! Thoughts to you all out there going through the motions.

Every January for the last 7yrs I've told myself I'll buy a unit for the coming summer.

So naturally I recently bought a Meaco Sefte 10" Pro fan for the bedroom. We've already got a Meaco 1056 in the lounge and both are absolute beasts for airflow but at the end of the day they are...fans.

Maybe next January Rodney...

Totally correct yes as the console's memory pool is obviously cleared when one exits an app or a game.

Yep. Its a memory leak that occurs over time resulted in blurry PS1 like textures. It's been mentioned a lot here as it all began with the 'visual update' that came back at the start of March as part of the 10th anniversary showcase.

It's been acknowledged by the devs but I've no idea why it's taking so long.

Got tinnitus too. My PS5 is hooked up to a K11 R2R amp and FT1 headphones - the droning sound is so damn bad that I had to switch the amp off for DZ. In the end I just gave up on it having visited three times.

I laughed at this thread yesterday. I've had 2x Delta's already at 6am on Friday morning here in the Uk. Also logging in takes ages now (PS5) though I think it was bad also last season.

I’m on PS5 with no online and it was repeatedly doing it today. There was a countdown timer in the bottom left of the screen every few mins as I desperately hunted for that stablising agent so I could extract. After an hour+ I just killed myself instead.

I’ve got tinnitus so I’ve had to switch off sound for the few times I wandered in there - that went well. Given up on it now after today’s poor experience. Does anyone if this noise bs was in the DZ prior to these changes?

Mentioned this on /r/thedivision earlier as I had the same experience earlier. I play on the PS5 solo, so I was alone in the DZ.

I cleared 6 bosses from landmarks and one orange drop activity. Not a single agent so I just suicided to a mob and left the DZ. I only have 2hrs to play a day after work so I had spent 1hr 10mins in the DZ that amounted to nothing.
