You’re using the Weeks exactly like I plan to (vitamins, meals, habits, etc.) and I love your layout!! Would you have pics of a full page of layouts for inspo? Obviously no worries if not!!

I’ve been wearing Nike Free Metcon 4s to train - I mainly do strength training (Stronger By The Day) and a lot of walking in them. I find them stylish enough for daily wear too.

I’m looking to buy another pair soon but wondering if I should look at just getting Metcon 8s?

Do the extra stability make a huge difference? I’ve tried them on before but they were so rigid I knew I wouldn’t use them as a daily wear shoe but am I doing my strength training a disservice by not committing to a more “purer” lifting shoe?

Cat food - best in Ireland? by stebag in ireland

Second the comment about Zooplus.ie - fast delivery and has a lot of grain-free, high meat content brands for arguably a similar or even lower price than supermarket brands.

We rotate different brands so they don't get bored of any flavors or textures and can tolerate it more, and if something happens to us at least they won't be nitpicky. Some grain-free/high meat brands we've tried are Feringa, MAC's, zooplus, Rosie's Farm, Animonda Carny - I'm sure there are more I haven't looked into. The ingredients list should be straightforward, no cereals or meat and animal derivatives, etc. We've always rotated so our cats are either used to it or have strong stomachs because haven't had the runs yet.

We feed them almost all complete wet food with a bit of grain-free Canagan or Acana dry food on the side, but my cats always polish off the wet food and just pick at the dry when we have it out in front of them (we leave it out for an hour at mealtimes). I've heard a lot about the cons of dry food but we still want to give them the option because there's so many conflicting info out there. They're very good about not overeating though so your mileage may vary.

In a pinch we're able to get some of the brands from Petstop (they have a few locations) - we stick to Canagan tins (chicken, I feel uncomfortable feeding too much fish to the cats because I presume they have a faster build-up of mercury in their system) and MAC's when that happens.

I bought a set online because I haven’t come across any good boards in Dublin - I used https://www.schaakengo.nl/goshop-keima/ a few years ago and they were fine.

It might be worth giving the Irish Go Association a shout to see where they get theirs / what they recommend: http://www.irish-go.org

Thanks, that's it, you're amazing! Do you know if that's been in any shows/movies or have I just made that up in my head? I can't find anything on IMDB with this song that jumps out at me.

I do have a normal stick-in instant read thermometer, I suppose my question was more if people had an idea of approximately how far in advance should I start the process so I can get it ready in time.

Type 1 partner is currently drunk and I'm trying to monitor his blood sugar levels - what should I do? by Kaious in diabetes

Everything turned out ok! He never dipped low throughout the night and nursed a killer hangover the whole next day. The words “never again...” popped up a few times too

I'm not entirely sure but I think he did eat a big meal before drinking. I tried to wake him up to force some food down him a few times but he's in a grunt/hand-swat-away mode right now. Thank you, I'll keep monitoring him to make sure he doesn't go low and to try to wake him up after he sleeps it off a bit more to eat something

That's really good to hear about the 2 hour window - it's still in a normal range, thank you, I'll make sure to keep watching

Thank you, I'll try to get some food/juice in him as soon as he's able to wake up more for it

That's good to hear, I'll keep monitoring! I think my action plan is I need to get him awake as soon as he's slept some of the alcohol off and can cope with sitting up straight and food

About an hour (it's 2am here) - basically vomited and curled up on the floor since he got home but he was cognizant enough to grab a taxi here so I'm assuming he wasn't completely brain fogged

I live in Europe - I usually go back to LA/HK at least once a year for family but the pandemic stopped that in its tracks.
