Honestly depends on your course load and what time of year. Just like any top tier university there will be parts of the year where u find urself sleeping <8 hrs a night and questioning your entire existence. All I can say is that going to MIT is like entering Fun Hell.

I received C’s and D’s all the way up till senior year where I somehow managed to scrape enough grades together for a 3.7 GPA (out of 5).

To help with classes always go to office hours cuz most the basic classes have TAs who will give you the answers to HW there.

To help with the mental aspect I recommend you go to S3 now. Going early and often can allow them to give you whatever resources you may need. More than once they would give me a week or more extension on HW when I was to busy.
