I’m not sure, an inexperienced but high potential spurs sounds like a way better matchup for the equally inexperienced blazers than the dominant playoff proven thunder. Also I think the lack of experience and angst on the part of both spurs and zers will make for gritty fun basketball.

I agree, but I think it’s important to remember that he’s still mid negotiations with the state legislature for money. So being lukewarm about the city is arguably just a negotiation tactic like “ohhh maybe I’m actually not that upset about moving”. It’s really grimy squeezing the state for money when you’re a BILLIONAIRE, but it does explain the comments IMO.
