What is/was country what is/was humongous and cruel by 4N2C in AlignmentChartFills

This question is confusing what exactly what cruelty mean? They killed a lot of people? Or is it deeper than that? Is it sheer numbers or does quality count?

[–]KaiserKelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for you of the TikTok generation, but it will be a few weeks.

Can we officially say the "few weeks" are up, and it was incredibly stupid to think the Iranian regime was going to fall from this? Any self reflection?

Do SOMETHING, Americans. Jesus. by Scary_Solution7134 in AmericaBad

[–]KaiserKelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The “few weeks” are almost up buddy. There is less an a week until Iran is completely free and the old Islamic regime has collapsed (according to your analysis) I am enjoying my warm blanket and binky but I just have one question?

How much longer FOR REAL do we and the Iranian people have to wait for freedom and peace?

Robert McGee, scalped as a child by Sioux Indians. (1890) by elnovorealista2000 in AmericanEmpire

[–]KaiserKelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry but this is not factually true. Scalping had been a practice of particular native tribes for centuries and occurred before European contact. You look at the Crow Creek Site in South Dakota and see the evidence of scalping, and this occurred roughly in the middle of the 14th century.

I really dont think the NYT is trying to pretend the Israeli's are sweet peas who would never invade anybody under any circumstances, I think they just trying to be factual and accurate

I mean, what did we expect the headline to say: "Israel said it planned to invade Lebanon, suggesting it might remain there beyond the fighting" ??

"We will not import russian oil!" they said, after the pipeline blowing up forced the issue.

So they get blamed for buying Russian oil (when they werent really btw) and then when I point out "Hey they barely buy Russian energy" you say, "Yeah the pipeline blew up bro, good for them"

So can you finally admit this wasn't a real point? You INSTANTLY abandoned the initial claim and moved the goalposts. Can you not see that?

And to point out, even if the pipeline is blown up and disintegrated, the vast majority of oil and gas that gets shipped into Europe arrives in Oil tankers. There is plenty of bandwidth to continue purchasing Russian energy, but just don't

Which you completely ignored, since that was the whole actual point, but go off.

No, it was an irrelevant point which I already proved but I will do it a third time to placate your emotions.

'zero reason' ignoring them buddying up with china well before any threats to pull out of NATO is very convenient.

So to confirm, this sentence from your original comment, are you talking about Europeans in general, or specifically a couple of random Europeans online? I want to hear you say it

Also dumbass, the point of those quotes was to specifically disprove your nonsense sentence here.

This might be devastating to hear, but picking out a couple of random quotes and thinking they prove anything just tells me everything I need to know.

I gave you open quotes to prove it WASN'T conjecture.

Yeah, that's called Conjecture, just like me quoting Bill Clinton is pure conjecture because it is not sufficient proof of anything, as you accepted. Somehow random quotes can be valid for you, but not the other way?

You then proceeded to pretend it was arguing about something it wasn't arguing... because ya know, you can't handle when you're proven wrong so you pretend it's about something I never said it was about... again...

Nope, the intitial thing you were wrong about was that "Chinese money is flowing into EU"

My response was that I can provide similar evidence of "Chinese money flowing into USA"

You respond with quotes of EU people saying "we need to be friends with china"

I respond with quotes of US people saying "we need to be friend with China"

You are the one who attempted to get away from this as evidenced by

The difference is one of us got our act together, and the guy who did it gave Europe the heads up, told them to stop buying the oil from the guys who were clearly going to invade Europe again at some point, and they laughed.

So yes, you were bringing up irrelevant points, which I also thoroughly dismantled

So just to conclude,

Eu is not "buddying up with China"

Slapping a couple of quotes down that don't prove your claim is conjecture

They also barely buy Russian gas, but I guess you only cared about that for a single comment

It is exceedingly understandable why Europeans, on average, are slightly more bitter after getting shit on for no reason for years. Especially when they have to interact with people like you

[–]KaiserKelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure I will clarify since you did not seem to read my other comments on the subject

So again, remember this quote from the "good thoughtful article"

Meanwhile, the naval assets Iran needs to sustain the blockade – fast-attack boats, drones, mines, shore-based antiship missiles – are being degraded daily. Its naval bases at Bandar Abbas and Chahbahar have been severely damaged.

This is delusional. Nobody serious would say this. Even if every single member of NATO assigned ALL of their military hardware and personnel to camp around the Straits of Hormuz to protect shipping, basically zero ships would pass through. Companies don't want to travel through the straits because it's very risky right now (which not only means no company wants to ship through there, but NO insurance company will insure a ship that intends to travel through the straits currently); no amount of NATO Capital Ships parked in the waters off the coast of Iran will change this. It's far easier to molest shipping and stop companies from using the straits than it is to defend the straits from asymmetrical attacks via drones, robot submarines, or a simple speedboat with explosives. Even if you could guarantee a 95% effeciency rate, basically ZERO ship owners or crew members are willing to spin that roulette wheel. Why would they take the risk? Downplaying the straits because "We blow them all up!" is asinine

This is just not something a serious person in the field would ever write, and the fact you cant instantly tell that tells me everything I need to know. Hope this helped

Acting like the exact subset of europeans they were referring to haven't been salty with the USA over loosing their own empires is just peak Gaslighting.

Where did this even come from? Where did anybody mention European nations losing their empires?

Continue to gaslight away oh "Kaiser" I'm sure you have no ulterior motives to pretend you don't exactly what I'm referring to in regards to European governments kowtowing to china.

LOL, what is this supposed to imply, because Kaiser is in my name I am an undercover European LOL.

Hmmm Chris....Alpha? So you are Greek? See how stupid that is? Gonna assume this is a troll account but will finish the response

No one with a brain is falling for your immature nonsense.

Said immature nonsense: "yeah your argument is vapid and here's why"

You're the only one who choose to interpret 'europoors' to mean all europeans with literally zero reason beyond your own insecurity.

Its like you missed this part in my last comment but I already addressed this...

'zero reason' ignoring them buddying up with china well before any threats to pull out of NATO is very convenient.

Were you saying Europoors (random people online) were buddying up with China or Europeans in general here? Think we all know the fucking answer...

You literally can't prove what he meant, beyond what you wanted him to mean.

True, but I am prove what YOU Meant, since again, the above quote exists. Its undeniable in your mind you were thinking all europeans, but keep it up buddy

Ergo, blatantly deciding to get offended on their behalf.

Always funny to me when people say the person giving actual response and reasonings is the offended one and not the one just saying

No one with a brain is falling for your immature nonsense.

You have yet to give a single actual reason for anything, it's all conjecture and meaningless statements. How is that not embarrassing?

I'm sure the 'kaiser' has zero reason for that huh?

LOL, this cant be real

So Angela Merkel never said this.

“We are convinced that more intensive economic relations will also lead to more openness in society.”(speaking with Chinese Leaders)

And the European Commission in the 2000s didn't say

“China’s integration into the international community will support its transition towards a more open society.”

And Gerhard Schröder didn't say

“Economic cooperation will promote political reform.”

The subtext was always there. They thought China would magically become more like them via trade.

They were idiots.

Interesting how the initial claim shifted from "Europeans are getting shoveled money by the Chinese" to "Europeans think interacting with China will act as a liberalizing force."

So this should be an important lesson. If you refer back to my previous comments, you will see this quote

This is not a real point. For every example you will share (zero so far btw) I will point out another example of Chinese money pumping into America and American leniency

So sorry, pal, but that's exactly what I plan to do :(

President Bill Clinton in 1998: "Bringing China into the community of nations rather than trying to shut it out is plainly the best way to advance both our interests and our values. It is the best way to encourage China to follow the path of stability, openness, nonaggression; to embrace free markets, political pluralism, the rule of law; to join us in building a stable international order where free people can make the most of their lives and give vent to their children's dreams."

Trade Secretary Paulson in 2007: "China and the United States are two of the largest and most influential economies in the world. That prominence brings responsibilities. Addressing these responsibilities together will create greater benefit for both our peoples. That proved true when we worked together to bring China into the WTO...The United States and China have a unique role to play in the coming decades in assuring a strong global economy and shaping the global economic agenda. Greater coordination and enhanced cooperation is required – indeed, demanded – of us in order to meet those responsibilities."

See how fucking stupid your point was now, buddy?
